BLATTER INVESTIGATED FOR CORRUPTION AT FIFA -- Updated: 6 June, 2016

UPDATE: 6 June, 2016 -- Blatter and two of his top officials are accused of receiving £55million. The head office in Geneva had been raided by the police.

UPDATE: 13 September, 2015 -- Blatter swears that there is no corruption in FIFA nor is he corrupt.

UPDATE: 24 June, 2015 -- Blatter is expected to be in Moscow with all the FIFA officials for the World Cup qualifying draw. Russia cut the budget by £340million. The US demands extradition of the arrested FIFA Officials in Switzerland.

LATEST NEWS: 5 June, 2015 -- Blatter is now busily writing a reform of FIFA even so he is not the president any more. Is he trying to save his neck?


UPDATED: 4 June, 2015 - Jack Warner, ex FIFA Vice President, stated, at a TV interview, that he will reveal all he knows, despite threat to his life. He can name FIFA officials at the general election in 2010 in his home country Trinidad and Tobago. SA already admitted that they bribed to win the World Cup to be played there. The longer is takes the more it comes down like house of cards and will eventually engulf Blatter one way or the other.

There are 14 FIFA officials under allegation of corruption and four have been charged already. As usually they will all start spilling the beans


UPDATED:  Blatter is now under investigation and the US officials hoping that they will get more information from the already arrested ex-FIFA officials to build a case against Blatter.


Sepp Blatter is to resign admits the bribery and corruption scandal. After 17 years and being re-elected for the fifth time he finally resisted all the pressure and resigned.


AVAAZ is now contacting the sponsors to pull out in case Blatter is re-elected. Blatter was re-elected again. Is there another fiddle?

UPDATED: 1 June,2014 --   Sepp Blatter won again and he claims he is all innocent and was not involvedin bribery and corruption. He did not know anything about it.  Mr Blatter claims that it all a smear fron the USA and Britain because they did not win.


UPDATED: 29 May, 2015 - Sepp Blatter as a last attempt to safe his win to be the president again for the fifth promised that he would cut out all bribery and corruption. This man is amazing. After decades of bribery and corruption in the FIFA Blatter emerged as the saviour. It was an open secret and no way Blatter could not have known. At the moment the voting is going on for the next president of FIFA.  Let's hope he'll lose and football will return to the game we all love.

Billions of football fans are delighted that their game is being cleared of corruption.

11 out of 14 people had been accused of corruption but Sepp Blatter. FIFA had been accused of making £150million out of the last World Cup in Brazil.

At dawn, Swiss police arrested seven FIFA officials on the authorities of the US.  A mass investigation discovered corruption at Football governing body.

“Too many countries are cowered by FIFA”, said Alexandra Wrage, a former FIFA anti-bribery advisor when resigned under protest from the organisation.  She added further: “As was international bribery more generally, the US Dept of Justice said that they’ll step up to investigate corruption if others won’t.”

FBI Director James Corney explained why the US was able to act.

“If you touch our shores with your corruption enterprise, when there   is through meeting of using our world class finance system, you will be held accountable for the corruption.”

To prosecute cases that involve foreign nationals, US authorities need only prove a minor connection to the US. The charges are referred to “the systematic payment of bribes and kickbacks” they were paid by marketing executives who want to increase their chances at winning contracts for the rights to markets and sell media accounts to tournaments.

The spark which set off US involvement when on Wednesday new confirmed the acting US Attorney for the East District of New York Kelly Currie noted the scale of allegations.

He said: “This sort of bribery and corruption in international soccer has been going on for two decades.”  It is not clear what specific event – if any – prompted the US investigation.

Andrew Zimbakist, author of Circus Maximus, stated: “I know some people who were in the US bidding committee…. They all had really strongly suspected that somebody was getting bought off. The Economic Gambel behind hosting the Olympics and World Cup. He told the BBC that he suspects the justice dept probably got involved following the failed bid.

AVAAZ started in the last 24 hours a competition to stop Sepp Blatter, today, to be elected for the fifth time as FIFA president. Hundred of thousands of people signed. It seems that Sepp Blatter so far was not accused of bribery and corruption.  It is a bit surprising that he was not aware of since during the last decades, when he was president, the bribery and corruption at FIFA was blossoming.

APPALLING RECORD OF HISTORICAL CHILD SEX ABUSE - Updates: 28 Oct., 2019

Update 28 Oct., 2019 - About 3 years have gone but has anything changed? Tories are still in power and since July 2019 Boris Johnson is the new PM chosen by his own party. Whether any sex abuse is still going, or not, is not reported by Tory's Controlled Press.

UPDATE: It is amazing but not surprising that it is now known Lord Janner allegedly abused 12 victims and has a 26 years record. It is another cover-up. Every time a politician dies we get to know their track record. Well done Theresa May.

UPDATED:  25 August, 2015 --  Lord Janner has now been alleged of child abuse and is in court which was cancelled because of ill health. He is a Labour MP but he is the only one from 76 politicians the police alleged. If he can be named what about the other 75 politicians? Why can't they be named? Why have to wait till 2030 for the rest of them? It is still a cover-up and the chance is that they might have died by then.

In my opinion there is still a cover-up in Westminster. Theresa May has all the power to speed it up and even more so David Cameron. 

It had been revealed about 1,433 public well known figures, 216 are now dead, were investigated over the historical child sex abuse allegations. They include:

76 politicians but will they be prosecuted if found guilty or will it again be swept under the carpet? There had been for a long time hints of a Westminster paedophile ring but  at the same time a number of other entertainer and ordinary people had been prosecuted in no time the politicians were covered up. 

During Margaret Thatcher’s time a big report was handed in to Leone Brittan, Home Secretary,  but it has vanished and although David Cameron “promised “ to search for it, so far it had not re-appeared. MP Cyril Smith’s deed were well known in those circles but when the police arrested him they were told, from high above, to let him go without charge. Jimmy Saville committed the most number of child abuse, although it was well known, it was only published after his death and so was Cyril Smith’s crime made public.

The revelation of 76 politicians being investigated is good news but unless the guilty ones will be in court and sentence it is not good enough for the public and especially for the victims.

135 TV, radio or film stars, 43 musicians and 7 athletes were also suspected of child sex abuse. 

Chief Constable Simon Bailey who is in charge, said the number of victims could run into hundred of thousands.  It is no surprise because this crime had been covered for far too long.  The paedophiles had been protected by top politicians and in the case of stars by various managements. The police was powerless and had to pretend to the victims they do not believe them.

So far the police had 116,000 reports last year and expect an avalanche this year. It implicates 154 schools, 75 children’s homes, 11 community groups, nine prisons or young offender institution, nine sports venues and 28 other places, such as military bases.

NSPCC boss Peter Wanless said: “These astonishing figures starkly underline how child sexual abuse has infiltrated every level of society, from politics to sport and showbusiness. Hundreds of institutions, including schools, children’s homes, hospitals and religious buildings have been the scenes of appalling crimes

.

“In the past it was far too easy for those in positions of power and authority to use their influence to silence victims. But those they preyed upon know now there is better chance they will be believed.”

One remark is not quite acceptable. The reference to Tony Blair’s Government. Admittedly he could also have lifted the lid but so could have even earlier Margaret Thatcher. As already mention Leon Brittan was handed a memorandum of the allegedly child sex abuses and he did not act on it, on the contrary, apparently it got lost. To lose such important files which also include boys being abused from care homes at luxurious flats in Dolphin Square, is not easily acceptable and to understand how this can happened.

Furthermore, it came to notice of the press two years ago and ever since the Home Secretary Theresa May seems to be dragging out the investigation by chairing twice people which she must have known were unacceptable. During the same time or even less entertainer Rolf Harris, Max Clifford, a whole gang of nine so-called taxi-drivers and others were investigated, found guilty and imprisoned, but not one politician.

Councils treat people without care what will happen to them. In the olden days they were given three choices of accommodations now only one. Take it or get out of here is the attitude but it all comes from the top.

100 council estates are planned to be demolished. Is it social cleansing?

It happened to Juliet Aziz and her neighbours because a developer got permission to raise the 140 houses to the ground and build new private ones.

This is the situation today in Britain. The demand for council houses and homes has reached an epidemic state. And there are perfectly 140 council houses, not built so long ago, will be making room for private development.

If that is not a crime at a time of desperate need, what is?

This terrible dead happens at Barnet and Juliet a single mother with four children had to move out. Ever since the family is in temporary accommodation in Potters Bar, Herts which is six miles away.

According to The Independent newspaper 50,000 people were made homeless and had been made to move out of London in the last three year. 2,000 people had to leave London altogether. The reason was the benefit cap and stagnant wages which prevented to pay high council rents. It hit many families and mostly mother with children. Furthermore, due to the cut backs on Council budget the council cannot offer any subsidiaries.

The private developer Annington Homes which will develop the Sweets W\t estate in Barnet.

Juliet’s children are still in the old school and she works at the DIY store which was five minutes walk. Now she has to make a round trip with cost her £240 per month n £208 per month to keep her furniture in store. It takes half of her wage of £13,000 per year.

She had an offer of a house but she refused because it was too far away. Now she is classed as “indentially homeless”.  Now when her emergency accommodation runs out, she fears her children could even be taken into care. She said: “I am so scared they are taking my kids. They have already sent the details to the social service.”

One offer of a house whether it is suitable or not and take or leave it. If it does not suit you  out you go. As before they gave three offers. 

It is the government how they treat people now; right from the top down to the council which gets the order or result of the cutbacks. There was no need to sell these houses to a private developer to be pulled down unless somebody profited by it.

Barnet Council said that they can not comment on individual cases. It is always a good diplomatic answer besides it was not just Juliet and her family but the whole estate.

At the same time the council confirmed that those who did not take up the offer will be excluded from the register for two years. What does the council think or the government which putout this law, people do in the meantime? This is a disgrace to treat people with children like that.

According to the BBC report all London councils offer incentives for tenants to leave London.

Wandsworth offers up to £7,000 to move to Birmingham where to rents are cheaper.

It might very convenient and helpful to the council to keep the cost down but it causes nothing hardship to the families. Fist of all, it is known that there are fewer jobs than in London and the benefit will be less and so on.

It shows again and proves it how little the Tories care about people but in the long run it will backfire one day. The more they cut benefit and other services down it will show in the economy.

When people have no money they can not buy food and things. There already over 1,000 food banks across the country it will increase rapidly due to all the cutbacks the Tories will apply.

Already the FTSE, in the last few days, was showing loses every day.
