UPDATE: 6 July, 2016 --
London is now known as the capital
of the world for drugs out of 56 cities.
The Government can be proud of that
achievement, especially the Home
Secretary Theresa May.
WHAT ABOUT THE INCREASE OF CRIME
TO GET THE MONEY FOR IT?
WHAT ABOUT THE INCREASE OF
ACCCIDENTS OR DOES THAT NOT COUNT AS LONG MR OSBORNE GETS MORE MONEY TO SHOW A BETTER ECONOMY?
They debate,
today, whether to legalise Cannabis and only because 220,000 people petitioned
it. The treasury is all for it because it would raise millions of pounds and
they justify it with being able to pay more for the police and prison.
It is a nice
little smoke screen for the damage it would do to the public if they legalise
the use of Cannabis.
Already last
September the Chancellor George Osborne used £10billion taxes from prostitution
and drugs to boost his bad economy. No
wonder the drugs’ trade does not get stopped. According to a police’s report
there are 600 big drugs dealers. Since they know them why are they not closing
them down? Is it another and new
cover-up like the historic child abuse?
The very
thought even to consider it for debates, never mind about the 220,000
petitioners who most probably are drug users and do not need to be encouraged.
Surely there
are some far more urgent matters which needs debating like to cancel the new
cut-backs to get people out of poverty not further into it. The Chancellor
George Osborne and Prime Minister David Cameron do not want to know about poverty
although for the first time he mentioned it at the Conservative Party
Conference. He made more promises which will not be fulfilled.
The housing
crisis, the unemployment and how to increase the economy all needs debating and
a solution found. How to rescue the Steelworks Redcar which has 1,700 workers
who will be unemployed in an area of already high unemployment? They sold it to
a Thai business and see what happened? He had all his profit out of it and now declared
bankruptcy.
There is the
Middle East which has turned into an even greater crisis and threatens to spill
across the world again. Not only the refugees crisis but also after the Russian
getting involved and the USA lit the fuse by threatening Russia with repercussion.
Mr Cameron
is eager to getting involved further with air strikes but has he considered
that it will create more terrorists with hate enough to cause atrocities on the streets of the UK. These are
the real problems which needs debating and not the legalisation of Cannabis
whose campaigners’ only aim is to stay out of prison.
They should not only
think of the danger a drug would do them but also of getting imprison. The threat
might persuade youngster to stay clear of it. It is a far better way then getting
more money into the Treasury’s coffer which might never be used for police or prison.
After all the public had enough of smokescreens and false promises from this government just to get their way
