TORIES SOLD OUT BRITISH STEEL TO CHINA

Boris Johnson is PM since July 2019. Despite the hard work of the Union put in all these years British Steel is now being sold to China. China is the main reason for getting British Steel into trouble because of their tariffs. EU wanted to put higher tariffs on Chinese Steel Imports but Cameron PM at that time refused and stopped EU. Now BS gets sold to China. That's CONservative Politic because its more profitable for their own pocket.

If Cameron, May and Johnson would ha Nationalised it like Germany, France and Italy it not have got into financial difficulties but the CEOs would not have earned £m nor shareholders.

Update 14 Dec., 2016 -- Whatever your opinion may be about the Union but it was the Union who managed to save the British Steel industry and with it 6.000 jobs. Whereas ex-PM David Cameron and new PM May did, put it commonly, "bugger all". If the Union managed to achieve an agreement they could have if they wanted to but the deal with China must have been more lucrative to them. A sell-out of the highest order by the Tories and a great "Thank you" to the Union.

Cameron even refused to sign the EU proposal of a high import tax for Chinese Steel. That's how much he cared. Even the EU is still reeling about it because they cannot implement it unless all 28 members agree. They now sidestepping the UK and put it up without the UK.

Everybody knows the steel and car industry is the backbone of the economy yet the Tories calmly sell out British Steel by buying steel from other countries. There must be a real reason behind it for them to do it. Guess!

Ministers are not answering whether British Steel will be used to build the Royal Navy's new Type 26 frigates. Our guess is as good as any.

Labour MP Stephen Doughty said: "The Tories are still failing to deliver on commitments to use British made steel in key defence proposals.

"It is vital the new frigates use high quality British steel. To do otherwise would betray our national interest, our steelworkers and an industry facing huge challenges."

When Sir Michael Fallon, Defence Secretary, pressed the button to cut the first steel for the Dreadnought class Trident subs it was imported from France. It was also revealed that French steel will be used for the hulls.

French Steel works were also in trouble because of the low priced Chinese steel import. They nationalised their steel works and therefore UK Government pays French Government for their steel.

General Secretary of the Community steel-workers' union Roy Rickhuss said: "It is vital the Government gets the procurement of steel for the frigates right.

"Ensuring UK steel is used in major projects would show we've finally got  a strategy to Save Our Steel."

It is no big guess where the steel will come from since the first steel came from France.

British Steel would not have a crisis if the Government would use it instead of foreign steel.

Around 4,000 tonnes of South Korean steel would be used for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary refuelling tankers.

Of the 82,000 tonnes of steel bought for the two giant Queen Elizaberh aircraft carriers; 4,500 tonnes has come from Turkey and 500 tonnes from Spain. Was the rest British Steel?

The contract PM May signed with China to built two nuclear Power Station, which nobody wants, 80,000 tonnes of steel are going to be  used. The French company EDF which is again French Government will build it.

Another massive steel production and jobs loss thanks to theTories.

Yet PM May claims the Tories are not the nasty party and they are all for the people's welfare. Well, we saw it the last six years and so far no change visible. As the saying goes "Deeds speak louder than words".

It turns your brain to think a Prime Minister can stand there and give such a statement while only a few weeks she signed contracts selling out British Steel and does not give a damn about the steel workers  losing their jobs.

BRITISH ICON MG ROVER MOVES TO CHINA

MG production at Longbridge, Birmingham, has a 110 years history. It was sold by the Blair government in 2005 to Shanghai Automobile Industry Corporation despite order books were full but due to greedy, bad management.

The sale was announced at the same time as a 130 per cent UK sale  increased was revealed.

MG Rover was the Pride and Envy of the world but it did not mean anything to Thatcherite Tony Blair and his friends.

The feeble reason now was Brexit which caused  the dropping of the Pound therefore China did not see any sense in investing further in Longbridge. It is only one side of the coin  but since China plans to expand into Europe the other side is shipping costs which cancels the savings.

A huge amount has to be spend on moving the production to China, train thousands of workers and will take years to balance the books again.

It is yet another major job loss to thousands of specialised workers. The Government keeps randing on about the Northern Powerhouse and at the same time lets the Steel works go to the wall and now MP Rover move to China. What kind of Government is this?

The  move will also have an impact on the Steel Industry. Well done Mrs May putting another few nails into the coffin.

At the same time as PM Theresa May lets a 110 years old production of a world  famous car go to China; she lets China built a nuclear power station in the UK. What kind of exchange is this?

"Made in Britain" has still a ring of guarantee; while consumer, like it or not, still has a suspicion about "Made in China".  It also could mean the decline of the famous make MG and Rover.

A fine example the famous Waterford Crystal "Made in Ireland" moved their production to China and the demand diminished with "Made in China" is no  more.

MG was first produced in Oxfordshire 92 years ago.

The Longbridge car production started in 1906. MG moved there in 1956. At its height during 1950 and 1970 it employed 25,000 people. Over 200,000 cars are produced a year and it is the biggest car production in the UK   Austin Morris started production in 1948.

All this does not mean a thing to the Tory Government like the Coal Mines, Ship Industry, Royal Mail, Steel Industry, NHS and MG Rover. It also does not care about the hundreds of thousands job losses which also has an impact on whole communities being ripped apart.

It is getting even more senseless to build now this super high speed train HS2 costing eventually over £100billion to Manchester and Birmingham where all the major industries had been ripped out.

Ministers were asking whether British Steel would be used to build the HS2 but were never given a promise which means it will not be. They were told that costs have to be kept down; in other words Chinese steel will be used.   

STEEL CRISIS CAMERON HIDES BEHIND EU Updated 7 April, 2016

The UK requested from the EU an emergency meeting with the European economic ministers to discuss the crises in the steel industry. This should have been done weeks ago but at the height of the crisis PM David Cameron was busy entertaining the Chinese resident. What kind of Prime Minister is he?

The request is for a tougher action on cheap import from China which later on turned out to be a pretence because the same PM refused to vote for the EU's higher Import Tariff on Chinese Steel.

A demonstration is planned in Brussels by the workers. There was a job loss of 4,000 in October.

The US, Germany, Italy and other countries have already put in laws to prevent cheap steel from Chinese flooding their markets. Why can PM David Cameron not do the same? Instead he signed a contract with China for two nuclear Power Stations to be build which nobody wants after the recent disasters. They most probably will be building with Chinese steel.

Gareth Stace, director of the industry body UK steel, said: “The UK must seize the moment and encourage a rapid response from Brussels if we’re to prevent large scale problems for steel makers spread in Britain and across the continent.”

Axel Eggert, director general of the European steel trade body EUROFUR, called for a level playing field. He said: “We do not want to block imports, but we would like to see fair trade, and if fair trade is not provided by our partners, than EU needs to act and it needs to act immediately.  We hope this will not be one of the outcome, today.”

Unite union agreed and Unite officer Harish Patel said: “Hiding behind the EU as an excuse to do nothing will not wash with tens of thousands of workers whose livelihood depend on steelmaking in the UK. Nothing should be off the table, including a refusal to grant Chinese market economical status while it fails to abide by EU rules on fair trade. Business Secretary Sajid Javid also needs to use the opportunity to learn from his country-partners in countries such as Germany and Italy and follow their lead in developing an industrial strategy with steel at its hearts.”

TORIES GOLDEN ERA WITH CHINA FOR WHOM - UPDATE: 14 Nov., 2019

Update 14 Nov., 2019 - May resigned in June and Boris Johnson became PM in July but he is even worse. He tried to close down Parliament but was overruled by the Courts. He got a Brexit agreement with EU but was down voted by House of Common because it has a Custom check at the Irish Sea which is against Good Friday Agreement. Now he decided to have a General Election on 12 Dec., 2019

British Steel is planned to be sold to China. TATA the present owner will cut over 1,000 jobs.

Trump plans to have a TTIP with UK whereby UK has to lower its Food Standard to accept USA clorinated chicken and hormon injected beef; it also includes NHS. Johnson agrees to all that.

Update 6 Nov.,  2016 -- The new PM Theresa May none the  better, since she went to China. She confirmed contracts for the two Nuclear Power Stations in the UK, which nobody wants, involving 80,000 tonnes of steel, and the move of the car plant Rover MG to China.  

Both a heavy loss of thousands of tonnes of steel to British Steel.

An insult to all steel workers who lost their job and to the Nation which lost their Steel Industry Mr Cameron called it an "Golden Era". How could he and how dare he?

UPDATE: 24 Oct., 2015 -
A deal was signed to build two nuclear power stations; most probably with Chinese Steel. EDF the French Government Electricity company will built it and most probably run it. The profit goes into the French Government.  

Well done PM David Cameron. He could have saved British Steel by stopping Chinese import. That deal stinks of everything that is moral. What else did he sell to the Chinese?

It is strange that by co-incident the British Steelworks got into trouble because the foreign owners pulled out, as the Chinese President arrived in London and after clever-boy George Osborne went to China.  Such an co-incident!!!!!!!!!

Cameron announced a “Golden Era” began between the UK and China. There are several criticisms against the “Golden Era” heralded by Cameron.

The reality is, he hopes China invest 30 per cent in the new building of a Nuclear Power Station and also partly finances the luxury train HS2. 

Although the Chinese president Xi Jinping signed an agreement on his second day of his visit he pointed out that details will be worked out when he returns to China. Already a great protest broke out in China against President Xi Jinping's visit to the UK.

Chinese economy was part of the collapse in recent months and they lost heavily on their share value. It also reflected in the collapse of British Steel because they flooded the UK and Europe with cheaper precede steel. The price of steel dropped from £330 to £180 per ton.

China will try to sell their steel even more aggressively to boost their economy but it is the UK which has not to buy it. Germany and France nationalised their steel industry to safeguard it. Why can not the UK do it?

China produces 1.6billion tons a year.

There are also great critics of China for its large consuming of wildlife products – ivory – tiger body parts and rhino horns for the medical and decoration. 2011 a report by International Foundation for Animals Welfare revealed “rampart illegal ivory trade” which led to a crackdown.

Prince William gave a speech on Chinese network CCTVs urging the people to stop buying illegal animal parts. It reached 100 million people.

Campaigners appeal to David Cameron regarding Chinese human rights records – such as repression of other minorities, detaining human rights lawyers and restriction on freedom of worship.

Hong Kong activist Joshua Wong protested against China plans to intervene in HK election last year.  He told David Cameron he can not trust the Chinese assurance on HK if it is given during the week’s visit.

Wong said: “My message to David Cameron is that China has not kept its promise to the people of HK to deliver universal suffrage, so how can you trust Mr Xi to keep his word on the trade deal signed this week.”

Mind you Mr Xi Jinping, if it is the fact, is not worse than PM David Cameron who never keeps his word.

China was accused of cyber-attacks on other countries. Therefore it is feared they can use commercial deals with Britain to spy on companies.

China seems to be the perfect trade’s people.  When they show their cards they always had an alternative motive and advantage in their deals.

Sky’s economist editor Ed Conway points out the possibility of losing the closed contact with the US which already cooled down since the UK joined China’ Asia Infrastructure investing Bank which is a rival to the World Bank. Is David Cameron trying to play a double sided political game? If so he will crash-land where China is concerned. They buy and sell him before he can say Hello.

Again David Cameron is selling out his people rather than offend the Chinese. A 60 years campaign to receive the deserved medal for 1949 China Yangtze River is being held back just for hat reason, The Sun reported.

The HMS Concord destruction “played a vital role in guiding crippled HMS Ametyst away from the Chinese guns”, the paper says, but the navy men never got their medals. Now, even Work and Pension Secretary Ian Duncan Smith agrees and is joined by the Ministry of Defence for not to cause trouble with Beijing.

That is really marvellous. None of these ‘men’ had ever any hard times leave alone fighting in s war; yet they decide to withhold medals which the brave navy men fought for their country with all the sacrifices.

The real reason is to get their H2S train financed. The Tories are not worried either about the Steel Industry. They are so callous that they do not accept a payment from the EU to save the steel industry because it would stop their repay.  Why? Where does the repay go?

Again they show the Tories do anything to get their projects done. It is sickening to know that we have to live under such a Government which is utterly and completely self-centred and step over anybody of the public.

RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WRONG IS WRONG BUT NOT AT TORIES HQ

GEORGE OSBORNE IN CHINA

This old saying is fundamental and that is how it should be but disregarded by the Tories when it suits them.

Chancellor George Osborne went to communist China with no Human Right whatsoever and tried to sell part of the H2S train project to them and most probably other projects.  

The same Tories labelled Ed Militant as “Red Ed” and this was partly to blame to bring the Labour win down in the last General Election. If Labour would of the same low and pathetic mentality they could not name Cameron and Osborne 'Red Dave' and 'Red George' but never hear that from them. Tories should outgrow there school habits of calling names. 

It would have been a total uproar caused by the Tories if Mr Corbyn, the new Labour leader, would go to China and sell them some of his project. 

Now a new scandal was found out that the Tories were alerted 11 months ago. A 60-page dossier was handed in on Volkswagen diesel emission scandal. It claimed that vehicles had been altered to pass laboratory tests.

The Volkswagen whistleblowers International Council of Clean Transportation showed 15 cars produced nitrogen oxides at an average of seven times the European legal limit. Volkswagen had to recall 500,000 vehicles and lost 18 per cent of their shares. The trust in Volkswagen was damaged unrepairable but who were the real guilty ones were Tory ministers who could have prevented the scandal. Was it done purposely and for several reasons?

Now the piggate scandal. Whether it was true or not we will never be told. It was revealed today, 26 Sept., 2015 in the Daily Mirror that David Cameron made several attempts to stop the publication of Lord Michael Ashcroft's book "Call Me Dave". Cameron also tried to nobble the co-author Isobel Oakshott to persuade her to pull out of it. 

However, one thing was confirmed by James Delingpole, a fellow student at the time of David Cameron at Oxford, that drugs were used. He even agrees with it today that drug abuse in Oxford Universities is a normal way of youth curiosity.

But it is wrong for those people bringing out laws and it is punishable with prison sentences.

Lord Sewell’s pictures of snorting drugs off the breast of a prostitute were all over the news papers but will he be punished and thrown out of the House of Lords.?

Other scandals were about signing in at the House of Lords and walking out soon after but claiming £300 a day and expenses. Some Lords were even in prison and on release went back to the House of Lords.

Any such wrong doing by Mr Average would have meant instant dismissal from the job.

Nobody was ever expelled from the House of Lords.

Now we are coming to the paedophile ring supposedly in Westminster. It was covered up in the 80s by top politicians of the Tory Government. For over the decades the victims, which were children at the time from orphanage and broken homes, tried to have the case opened up? A few years ago, Theresa May, Home Secretary, agreed to meet them at Downing Street, when they got there and waited two hours they were told that Ms May was unavailable because she flew to Brussels. The insult was dished out to victim of most horrific experiences.

Even today, it is still a cover-up because Ms May chaired for the third time a judge from New Zealand which claims it would till 2030 to publish the result. Personally, I think will it ever be?

How come that the police could work through quickly celebrities who committed the same crime and at the same period of time and they went to the court and are in prison now. Oh yes, Lord Janner was accused of paedophile activities and his court case was scheduled but now transferred to February. The problem with Lord Janner is being Labour and was at first excused for having dementia but later was found out that he organises dinner parties therefore his case was re-opened.  Let’s see what will happen in February.

To be sure there is a long, long list which could be added of all sort wrong doings.
