POOR PM MAY PRESSURED TO CUT OAP TV LICENCE

T May pressured or not but held out but PM Johnson done the evil dead. Well done Tories. Its the only thing housebound OAP and disabled people had to enjoy.

Do PM May and her Tories really think we belief she is pressured into cutting free TV licence for over 75 Old Age Pensioners (OAP)? What a twister!!!

It was already mentioned when the worst Chancellor George Osborne and his great friend David Cameron were in power. It was also said they will cancel the free bus pass for pensioners. Most probably PM May will be pressured into it next. 

This whole Government stinks, to deprive old age pensioners the last few privileges they have. Most or many are housebound or have not got the money since the Welfare cuts and it is their only entertainment or amusement they have. A generation who fought and sacrifices everything to save this country to be treated like that while those fatcats in the Government get their TV licence free anyway because the very taxpayers foot the bill of their expenses.

It stinks to high heaven the way they treat the people.

We read how ruthless Margaret Thatcher was by revelation of the released files; but she is still reigning on make no mistake.

Not only did she purposely set up the Falkland war by recalling the HMS Endurance which was guarding the Falklands just to win a war and her next election. She did not bat an eyelid that it cost over 800 Argentinians  and British soldiers lives plus many were maimed for live.

There she stood, in front of 10 Downing Street, looking and feeling victoriously. Not a thought given to the families who lost a loved one.

Now we learnt about the secret and ruthless plans of Margaret Thatcher to dismantle the NHS and the Welfare State. There was an uproar and she shelved but never forgot it. No wonder her glory  boy David Cameron worked hard on it to fulfil her dreams. Now it is PM May turn to finalise it and she will if she is not voted out soon.

If all these evidences are not an eye opener of what the Tories really are, nothing will.

They are a scandal beyond any human understanding.

This old saying is fundamental and that is how it should be but disregarded by the Tories when it suits them.

Chancellor George Osborne went to communist China with no Human Right whatsoever and tried to sell part of the H2S train project to them and most probably other projects.  

The same Tories labelled Ed Militant as “Red Ed” and this was partly to blame to bring the Labour win down in the last General Election. If Labour would of the same low and pathetic mentality they could not name Cameron and Osborne 'Red Dave' and 'Red George' but never hear that from them. Tories should outgrow there school habits of calling names. 

It would have been a total uproar caused by the Tories if Mr Corbyn, the new Labour leader, would go to China and sell them some of his project. 

Now a new scandal was found out that the Tories were alerted 11 months ago. A 60-page dossier was handed in on Volkswagen diesel emission scandal. It claimed that vehicles had been altered to pass laboratory tests.

The Volkswagen whistleblowers International Council of Clean Transportation showed 15 cars produced nitrogen oxides at an average of seven times the European legal limit. Volkswagen had to recall 500,000 vehicles and lost 18 per cent of their shares. The trust in Volkswagen was damaged unrepairable but who were the real guilty ones were Tory ministers who could have prevented the scandal. Was it done purposely and for several reasons?

Now the piggate scandal. Whether it was true or not we will never be told. It was revealed today, 26 Sept., 2015 in the Daily Mirror that David Cameron made several attempts to stop the publication of Lord Michael Ashcroft's book "Call Me Dave". Cameron also tried to nobble the co-author Isobel Oakshott to persuade her to pull out of it. 

However, one thing was confirmed by James Delingpole, a fellow student at the time of David Cameron at Oxford, that drugs were used. He even agrees with it today that drug abuse in Oxford Universities is a normal way of youth curiosity.

But it is wrong for those people bringing out laws and it is punishable with prison sentences.

Lord Sewell’s pictures of snorting drugs off the breast of a prostitute were all over the news papers but will he be punished and thrown out of the House of Lords.?

Other scandals were about signing in at the House of Lords and walking out soon after but claiming £300 a day and expenses. Some Lords were even in prison and on release went back to the House of Lords.

Any such wrong doing by Mr Average would have meant instant dismissal from the job.

Nobody was ever expelled from the House of Lords.

Now we are coming to the paedophile ring supposedly in Westminster. It was covered up in the 80s by top politicians of the Tory Government. For over the decades the victims, which were children at the time from orphanage and broken homes, tried to have the case opened up? A few years ago, Theresa May, Home Secretary, agreed to meet them at Downing Street, when they got there and waited two hours they were told that Ms May was unavailable because she flew to Brussels. The insult was dished out to victim of most horrific experiences.

Even today, it is still a cover-up because Ms May chaired for the third time a judge from New Zealand which claims it would till 2030 to publish the result. Personally, I think will it ever be?

How come that the police could work through quickly celebrities who committed the same crime and at the same period of time and they went to the court and are in prison now. Oh yes, Lord Janner was accused of paedophile activities and his court case was scheduled but now transferred to February. The problem with Lord Janner is being Labour and was at first excused for having dementia but later was found out that he organises dinner parties therefore his case was re-opened.  Let’s see what will happen in February.

To be sure there is a long, long list which could be added of all sort wrong doings. 

BLATTER INVESTIGATED FOR CORRUPTION AT FIFA -- Updated: 6 June, 2016

UPDATE: 6 June, 2016 -- Blatter and two of his top officials are accused of receiving £55million. The head office in Geneva had been raided by the police.

UPDATE: 13 September, 2015 -- Blatter swears that there is no corruption in FIFA nor is he corrupt.

UPDATE: 24 June, 2015 -- Blatter is expected to be in Moscow with all the FIFA officials for the World Cup qualifying draw. Russia cut the budget by £340million. The US demands extradition of the arrested FIFA Officials in Switzerland.

LATEST NEWS: 5 June, 2015 -- Blatter is now busily writing a reform of FIFA even so he is not the president any more. Is he trying to save his neck?


UPDATED: 4 June, 2015 - Jack Warner, ex FIFA Vice President, stated, at a TV interview, that he will reveal all he knows, despite threat to his life. He can name FIFA officials at the general election in 2010 in his home country Trinidad and Tobago. SA already admitted that they bribed to win the World Cup to be played there. The longer is takes the more it comes down like house of cards and will eventually engulf Blatter one way or the other.

There are 14 FIFA officials under allegation of corruption and four have been charged already. As usually they will all start spilling the beans


UPDATED:  Blatter is now under investigation and the US officials hoping that they will get more information from the already arrested ex-FIFA officials to build a case against Blatter.


Sepp Blatter is to resign admits the bribery and corruption scandal. After 17 years and being re-elected for the fifth time he finally resisted all the pressure and resigned.

UPDATED: 1 June,2014 --   Sepp Blatter won again and he claims he is all innocent and was not involvedin bribery and corruption. He did not know anything about it.  Mr Blatter claims that it all a smear fron the USA and Britain because they did not win.


UPDATED: 29 May, 2015 - Sepp Blatter as a last attempt to safe his win to be the president again for the fifth promised that he would cut out all bribery and corruption. This man is amazing. After decades of bribery and corruption in the FIFA Blatter emerged as the saviour. It was an open secret and no way Blatter could not have known. At dawn, Swiss police arrested seven FIFA officials on the authorities of the US.  A mass investigation discovered corruption at Football governing body.

“Too many countries are cowered by FIFA”, said Alexandra Wrage, a former FIFA anti-bribery advisor when resigned under protest from the organisation.  She added further: “As was international bribery more generally, the US Dept of Justice said that they’ll step up to investigate corruption if others won’t.”

FBI Director James Corney explained why the US was able to act.

“If you touch our shores with your corruption enterprise, when there   is through meeting of using our world class finance system, you will be held accountable for the corruption.”

To prosecute cases that involve foreign nationals, US authorities need only prove a minor connection to the US. The charges are referred to “the systematic payment of bribes and kickbacks” they were paid by marketing executives who want to increase their chances at winning contracts for the rights to markets and sell media accounts to tournaments.

The spark which set off US involvement when on Wednesday new confirmed the acting US Attorney for the East District of New York Kelly Currie noted the scale of allegations.

He said: “This sort of bribery and corruption in international soccer has been going on for two decades.”  It is not clear what specific event – if any – prompted the US investigation.

Andrew Zimbakist, author of Circus Maximus, stated: “I know some people who were in the US bidding committee…. They all had really strongly suspected that somebody was getting bought off. Lorraine Lambert, CEO of South Tyne side NHS Trust, withdrew from the NHS pension scheme when her huge pension pot reached the tax free lifetime allowance limit, which was then £1.5million.

They discovered that bosses are receiving £210million a year despite financial crisis.

When the scandal broke all three parties called for an inquiry which seems to pop up at every corner costing taxpayers millions of pounds and so far every one of them proved useless. The ministers and Prime Minister should have done their job in the first place and it would have avoided many inquiries.  It would have saved a lot of money in salaries and inquiries.  That is where austerity starts.

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has failed in his job.  Does the Government really make us belief he did not know and if so what was he doing all this time? Is it not his job to find out why the NHS is in such a bad state?  All this time it was the immigrants having treatment on the NHS and disappear or the old people blocking the beds which costing thousands of pounds.    Now we know the real reason and according to the pictures not one of them have lines of stress and live a life of luxury.

A document was leaked that the Tories would axe another 2,000 nurses if they win. Nurses are already working extra hours, unpaid, if there is a shortage and they had their 1 percent pay rise refused by Cameron.

Well, they won again and Jeremy Hunt is again the Health Secretary. How could any one vote for them again after their terrible track record? Now there will be more privatisation of the NHS and more cut backs and those bosses will receive a huge pay rise.

    

There is no word to describe this scandal and surely the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt and Prime Minister David Cameron knew it. 

Remember the Staffordshire Hospitals where 1,500 patience died of neglect and the CEO demanded to stay on for another year to reach his £2million pay out. David Cameron agreed to it.  Therefore, he must have been aware of other CEO and their sky high salaries. He, too, should have looked into the NHS finances since it was the number one worry of the people.
  

After five years in office he shows a very sad result. As the saying goes “Action speaks louder than words”.

Now with the General Election coming up he “promised” to invest £8million without justifying where it supposed to come from. He must see the electoral as complete fools.  Voters had too many unfulfilled promised and must have gone wise by now.

According to DR Rose Altmann, country’s foremost pension expert, NHS bosses are able to sign off their own pay rises and take advantage of loopholes in the exceptionally generous NHS pension scheme.

GOLDMAN SACHS WILL PAY £8BILLION BONUS

In my opinion: They are not the only ones who receive such enormous bonuses. It is scandalous because especially at a time of great starvation these people pocket not only the highest salaries ever but also hundred of thousands of pounds if not millions of pounds bonuses. Yet mastermind PM David Cameron does nothing about it but planning further cuts for councils and public.

This is a scandalous report beyond any comparison.  Their New York Head Quarter confirmed that the company was able to keep aside a £8,35billion which is 37 per cent of  £22.8billion turnover. Golman Sachs is the richest Tory MP in the UK.

This success is also from the Royal Mail sale. Goldman Sachs’ advisers convinced ministers to sell the Royal Mail in 2013 at such a low rate that the taxpayers lost £1billion. The shares, of course, jumped up after the sale their clients through another branch of Goldman Sachs and made £12million by buying and selling shares.  How much did the Prime Minister David Cameron and his friends gain?  He ought to be ashamed to have sold a peace of his country.

Furthermore, the Chancellor George Osborne spent £53,000 on a court case at the EU Court of Justice to fight a cap on the bankers’ bonus. He lost it but it showed his attitude.

Records reveal that in 2013 the top executives of banks received a payout of £3million.  It is the same financiers who brought down the crash in 2009 and their banks had to be bail-out with taxpayers’ money but this is apparently all forgotten but the taxpayers are still carries the burden.  By right any profit should have been paid back to the taxpayers.

According to the statistics the average worker has its income lowered by £2,500 since 2010. During the same time the City bankers’ salaries increased beyond any recognition plus sky high bonuses.  The government used the crash and bail-out as an excuse to cut public service and cap the workers’ wages.  George Osborne announced that the pain had been worth it. What does he know about it? Yes, not for the Elite while the average family have to rely on food banks and can not heat their homes properly.  George Osborne has even the audacity to announce further and bigger cuts if they win the election.  God forbid.  They screwed the public deep enough into the ground while they filled the pockets beyond belief.

Within two years the Tory-led Government and the LibDem which did not exactly vote against many proposals from the Tories; they created 4000 multi-millionaires and multi-billionaires and £19trillion was syphoned off to tax haven.  PM David Cameron held big speeches, from time to time, about getting the tax avoiders but so far nothing. Cameron, of course, will not do anything about it because Goldman Sachs is one of his biggest donors.  Yet, at the same time nurses having to fight for a miserly one per cent pay rise which was agreed but Cameron will not agree to it.

David Cameron also announced and warned that there is another Global crash on the way which, most probably, been orchestrated again by the same bankers and financiers. The last time Cameron used to blame the Labour Party which of course was not their fault but global wide and he must have known that it was his top financier friends who purposely caused it. Now, since he is already aware of it why does he not do anything about it to safeguard Britain?  Surely he can and could stop the tidal wave to swamp over Britain. Now let’s see how he stands on the shores and commands the waves to turn back.

Even the cap of 100 per cent bonus of his salary is not justifiable.  How can a man’s work be worth a £2 or £3million salary from a start and then on top of it another £2 or £3million bonus? Surely no man’s work is worth that much.  Therefore the bonus schemes should be stopped.  A salary of £2 or $3million is more than well paid. Surprising the EU Court of Justice did not stop it altogether. 

VERDICT ON PHONE HACKERS AND TORY PARTY - Update: 10 June, 2015

The fact remains that phone hacking had been done, especially on the murdered girl Milli. A large sum of taxpayers'money had been spent to bring the main offenders to justice and the court and judges could not find them guilty is incredible. Even the prevention of justice was wiped off the table by the defending lawyers headed  by Mr Cameron's Brother. Milli's family must be devastated by the outcome

ANDY COULSON

UPDATE:   10 June, 2015 --  The case against Andy Coulson also collapsed. Again the inquiry and court cases were all for nothing but cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of pounds. 

UPDATE:  5 September, 2014 -- The real guilty ones got away as usual and let the people who only followed orders take the full wrap.  Of course, they should have refused to follow orders but to some extent it is excusable if you are in a high position. Now, they would be better off had they refused. 

Nevertheless, it does not make it right for the real guilty ones not to be charged. They should have had the highest sentence because they had the responsibility for the paper and its staff. Besides it was totally wrong for the Prime Minister David Cameron not being forced to forward his email between himself, Brooks and Coulson. It would have given more information and should have been vital first to the inquiry and now to the court case. 

At long last the verdict was given on the phone hackers.  Andy Coulson received the longest sentence of 18 months because he was the editor of the News of the World at that time; so was Brooks and she got off the hook. W H Y?  The judge stated that in his (Coulson) position he was more responsible of the plot to intercept thousands of voicemail messages of royals, celebrities and members of the public. It weighed most heavily against them that they were hacking the 13-old Milly’s phone in 2002 which led to the false belief she was still alive.

Two of the former editors Greg Miskiw, 64, and Neville Thurlbeck, 52, received a six months sentence. James Weatherup, 58, a four month suspended sentence and 200 hours of unpaid community work.

The worst in this scenario was that Prime Minister David Cameron employed Andy Coulson straight away when he was sacked after the scandal of phone hacking broke.  Coulson was employed as nothing but the director of communication in 2007. Who would in his right mind would employ a man who is involved in phone hacking as a director of communication in 10 Downing Street? Furthermore David Cameron only sacked Coulson after a long battle from the public and MPs putting on pressure.

Labour leader Ed Miliband went for David Cameron stating:  “My thoughts are with the victims of phone hacking, the victims of Andy Coulson’s behaviour. I think, once again, it throws up serious questions about David Cameron’s judgement in bringing a criminal into the heart of Downing Street, despite repeated warnings. This is a verdict on Andy Coulson’s criminal behaviour and also a verdict on David Cameron’s judgement.”

Coulson, father-of-three from Sutton, South London, England, denied conspiring to intercept voicemails between 2000 and 2006 but was found guilty by a jury. However, a the sentence of 18 months which will be halved for ‘good behaviour’ does not give justice to the crime, hurt and damage he and the others have done.

The judge added: “As we now know Milly was already dead, The News of the World delayed telling the police the contents of the voicemail until they realised they were not going to find Milly. That was unforgivable and could only have happened with the knowledge of the person editing the paper that week. Andy Coulson.”

Private detective Glenn Mulcaire, 43, who hacked the phones, received a suspended six-month sentence. He was already jailed in 2007 with ex-News of the World royal reporter Clive Goodman for hacking phone.

The judge added further: “They were distinguished journalists who had no need to behave as they did to be successful. Now their reputations and careers are irreparable damaged.”

Cameron had the unspeakable nerve to state: “It says it is right justice should be done and no one is above the law.”  Well that really puts the full-stop on it on his principle trying to pull his neck out of the loop.  In my opinion Rebekah Brooks and her husband were found to divert the cause of justice by the police. The police do not bring up allegation lightly in such a high profiled case. Rebekah Brooks was chief editor at that time but never received a sentence. WHY?

REBEKAH BROOKS

 David Cameron never handed over the emails between himself, Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson. Why was Cameron not forced to do so? One thing was funny even in this scenario that David Cameron always signed  his email with “lol” thinking it was “lots of love” until Rebekah put him wise that the meaning is “lots of laugh”. Was it just a slip up or does it tells us something more?

Coulson and Goodman face another trial on two charges that they paid for confidential directories with numbers of members of the Royal Family and their staff.

RUPERT MURDOCH

Another person who showed his real character in this case, was Rupert Murdoch. The moment the scandal broke he was off to the USA.  Before this he was all thick with the Conservative Party and its top members as far back as Margaret Thatcher. In her eyes he could do no wrong.  After he was safely away in American he criticised Britain and contemn the way of living. So far he kept well quiet and away from Britain, as before he was more in Britain than in the USA. He broke a 165 year old newspaper The News of the World which he closed down immediately.

NO ACTION TAKEN ON HORSE MEAT USED IN BEEF PRODUCTS

For all we know it still could go on. EU demands proper labelling but Cameron ignores it. There was not on prosecution.

It had been six months since the horse meat scandal was revealed by tests in the Republic of Ireland.  Horse meat was added in packages labelled 100 per cent beef mince.

MPs raised the matter in the House of Common and questioned why there had not been any prosecution since the discovery in January 2013. Apparently it spread right across Europe and involved big supermarkets chains Liddle, Aldi, Tesco, Birds Eye and Iceland plus it had been found in beef products and school meals.  The scandal in the UK and Ireland has still not been given a full account or being dealt with accordingly the illegal trade.

The Environment, Food and Rural Affair Committee explained that it is evidentially a complex network of companies trading and misleading beef and beef products which is fraudulent. The head of the committee Anne McIntosh pointed out further there is a slow process of the investigation, prosecution and assurance of eliminating the contamination.  Why are the responsible politicians dragging their feet when it is a criminal act to add horse meat when it states 100 per cent beef?

The Food Standard Agency is also lucking behind its responsibility and has not the effect required. It should have the power to investigate more regular tests which were obviously not done for quite some time. Let’s face it; it is the FSA sole purpose to ensure the food is not contaminated.  Again the government is lagging behind on its responsibilities especially Prime Minister David Cameron should have ensured that strong measures were taken immediately and in every way.

MPs were informed that in EU-tests 14 out of 836 tests on Horse Meat from the UK showed positive containing the pain killer bute. This is really the main concern about the whole scandal. It is not the Horse Meat as such which is dangerous but the pain killer it could contain. Bute gets injected in Race Horses or other Sports with horses to kill pain if they are insured. Apparently it is quite widely used to enable horses being put back on races or other sport activities.

Needless to say the injection must be very powerful to have an effect on a horse and it has been established that it is very harmful to humans. It can cause heart -, kidney - or liver damage or failure.

It is also known that not many horses live their lives out on green pastures after they get past their best in performing.  It gives an idea of how many horses being killed before their time and horse meat being used in products. Therefore it is incredible that the committee insists horse meat were found only in “small” numbers of beef products but demanded that a regular testing should be enforced on all meat and meat based products which includes ready meals and frozen meat products. This demand also came from the MPs.

The current scandal also shows a number of loopholes in the horse passport and movement which needs to be closed and properly monitored.

HEDGE FUND BETS

For the first time an EU ruling made sense. The EU ruled from 1 November the Financial Service Authority has to disclose any shortening by Hedge funds.

The scale of short-selling by Hedge funds has been made public for the first time. This occurs when Hedge funds bet on a company’s share price falling. As before it was a very secretive Hedge fund bet on shares falling and shorting by borrow shares and sell them hoping they can buy them back at a lower price which will give them a profit.

Another fiddle disclosed. We had the Libor scandal and hope this had been regulated now. We had the tax avoidance scandal and now the Hedge fund bets scandal.

Shares of about 150 companies are on the list of around 50 funds which were shortened.

The bets adding to hundreds of millions of pounds and right across the whole industries which include builder Barratt, online grocer Ocado, web retailer Asos, insurer Admiral, Marks & Spencer and bookmaker William Hill to name but a few.

The biggest short position in per centage of market value is fund manager David Einhorn’s Greenlight Capital against Daily Mail & General Trust.  His 4.4 per cent against DMGT amounting to £80million. DMGT is the owner of Daily Mail and Sunday Mail.

Under the new EU ruling the FSA will have to publish short positions above 0.5 per cent of a firm’s market value.

The banks and finance sector have a lot to answer for the crisis of the economy. It is high time they are going to be regulated again. It only came about after Margaret Thatcher de-regulated the banks and Finance.  The disclosure due to the new EU rules shows and proves creamed off hundreds of millions of pounds.

There again the government should have stepped in much earlier and stopped it instead of cutting ordinary people’s benefits which surely don’t add up to half of these amounts.

BUT THEY ARE THE CITY BOYS WHO SUPPORT THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY.

REMEMBER CAMERON CHILLAXING

First of all chillaxing is a new word and it was put together by chilling out and relaxing. Just to keep people up to date with the latest.

The public is under the greatest pressure for almost a decade because of the cut back by the government. The real cuts of various benefits has not even had the full impact yet but there seems no end of spending and also wasting money in the government. They should have the greatest austerity because they using and living on taxpayers’ money.

On the trip to Australia for the Commonwealth summit David Cameron vanished again and it was only a two days summit. You would think he would dedicate this very short time to improve the economy. He did the same last year and went on a private tour and tipple to the Sandalford Winery in Swan Valley. The Prime Ministry, apart from other chillaxing, is known for his boozy Sunday.  After all he has to relax after the hard work he does during the week in Parliament.

All together it was a four-day International tour and ended with the Commonwealth summit. David spent £821,000 in four days and most went on a chartered private jet. The Euro crisis was ‘dealt with’ at Brussels and 23 officials flew straight to Australia and were late again as in the year before. The vanishing trip cost the tax payer at least £12,800 pfficially.

Since they went there late already any one would expect that the Prime Minister would use every minute to solve the crises to some extent and met as many other leaders as possible in the short time.

One civil servant who worked there at the time of Gordon Brown and Tony Blair stated that none of them would have ever thought of wandering off to a vineyard. It just shows fully his attitude towards Britain and British people plus the economy. He must be desperate to use the little time he was there to visit a vineyard, have private tour and sample the wines.  If he was so desperate he should have done in his own time and after the summit.

Australia Prime Minister was wondering why Cameron skipped an official dinner and the summit final day. She commented that there is a lot of pressure on people’s time given fully to the issue in the global economy. 

To skip the official dinner and the final day was also an insult to the Commonwealth summit and Australia’s Prime Minister who arranged it all. Such bad manner from a Prime Minister who is the leader of Britain and had high education is unacceptable.

Apparently Mr Cameron did not show a lot of strain at the Sandalford’s private tour and sampled vintage wines of its finest. 

But we don’t want to miss out on the white-wash. Downing Street stated the high cost was because the plane should have gone to Japan, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia instead. Now that is a real reason. Isn't it? This is not an explanation or justification. It shows even more his arrogance to charter a jet which was chartered already to these countries.  

A spokesman stated further that it is important for the Prime Minister to represent the UK at the Commonwealth meeting. Surely he would have impressed them more by flying first class with a scheduled airline. He would have even got there on time and if the Royal family uses first class who the hell does HE thinks he is?  He forgets that he has been voted in by the people and therefore should serves them to his fullest abilities.

This is also not the first time Cameron wondered off. When he was in Chicaco for the Nato summit he done the same thing. He vanished to do some 'shopping'. He seems to be using all these highly important trip just with one thing on his mind to get his private life well feathered. The whole attitude to his duty is unbelievable and unacceptable. He just keeps letting the people down times and times again. 

Yet he keeps getting away with it all the time.

ANOTHER SCANDAL ABOUT NHS IN AUGUST 2012

At Hospitals with deficit the cleaners were sacked and the nurses were told to clean the wards. According to the information infections start to rise because the nurses can’t all their time cleaning as cleaners would do.

Ministers demand an investigation from Health Secretary Lansley after these revelations at the Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals trust. It is thought that the trust will end the year with a £26million deficit.

Already cleaners work two days less at these three hospitals since the Tories cut public spending. This results into highly skilled nurses having to waste their time cleaning.

Shadow health minister Jamie Reed said: “Over 4,000 nursing posts have been axed since the election and now over-stretched nurses are filling in from a lack of cleaning staff with patient left paying the price.”

The Labour MP demanded an immediate investigation.

The unions requested an urgent meeting with the trust bosses over the scandal.

Janet Davies of the Royal College of Nursing pointed out that nursing staff are already over-stretched and should not been taken away form patient care.

The trust, trying to run the hospitals of Wakefield, Dewsbury and Pontefract, stated that they have not enough funding for cleaning staff.

Former government inspector Brian Duerden found nurses cleaning wards when he came to inspect why the trust had a low infection target.

He said: “Pressure on beds pushes staff to clean quickly and staffs believes bed areas are not cleaned thoroughly. Nurse staffing is already ‘tight’ so taking them away to clean must impact on their time for patient care.”

A trust spokeswoman admitted nurses “assist with bed space cleaning following the discharge of a patient.

“This occurs in the evening in the evening or overnight and is to ensure the trust can admit emergency admissions.”

The Tory-led government look only at their books and not the reality. You only can cut down to a certain level and then you asking and get trouble.

When the Conservatives in power before they too had the idea to cut cleaners. What was the outcome? The hospitals were swamped with MRSA and Superbugs. It took the Labour government a decade to get rid of it or at least down to a very low level.

David Cameron must have got hold of Margaret Thatcher’s handbook “How to run a country down”.

This strategy is not only insulting to the nurses, the cleaners but it is most of all risking people’s live.  As it is half of the patients have to return back to the hospital because they get turned around too quickly. Therefore it doesn’t save any money at all. Now the wards will be infected again, and it goes very quickly, because of the scrooges in clever-clods in the coalition.

How about not sending or only half of the £12billion for Foreign Aid Fund? It would be a boom for NHS.

PHONE HACKING SAGA CONTINUES

UPDATE 1 SEPTEMBER 2012:  Another person had been arrest in connect with and bailed but the name had not been revealed yet.

Rebekah Brooks, pal of David Cameron, and Andy Coulson his ex-spin doctor will be charged over hacking Milly Dowler’s phone. There will be five former staff accused of hacking the murdered schoolgirl’s voicemail.

The ex-News of the World editors Rebekah Brooks will be charged with plotting to hack the phone of Milly and ex-Fire Brigades Union boss Andrew Gilchrist.

The Crown Prosecution Service will charge seven of the ex-News of the World staff plus private investigator Glenn Mulcaire. They will have to face 19 phone-hacking charges altogether.

Coulson, Brooks, chief reporter Neville Thurlbeck, ex-managing editor Stuart Kuttner and former executive Greg Miskiw are accused of hacking Milly’s phone and others.

The paper’s ex-head Ian Edmondson and former executive James Weatherup were charged with phone hacking of famous people but not with Milly’s phone hacking. Their accusations were of hacking voicemail messages of well-known people. The prosecution stated that there more than 600.

Some of the alleged charges were politions Lord Prescott, Dame Tessa Jowell and Mark Oaten. Stars were Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jude Law, Stenna Miller, Sadie Frost, Sir Paul McCartney, Heather Mills and footballer Wayne Rooney.

Others were celebrity chef Delia Smith, 7/7 London bomber survivor Prof John Tulloch, George Best’s son Calum and Sven Goran Eriksson.

Police stated that Coulson, Thurlbeck, Edmonson, Weatherup, Kuttner and Miskiw appeared at the police station and were charged with conspiracy to intercept communications without lawful authority from October, 2000 to August 9, 2006. Mulcaire was not charged for legal reasons. However, he was charged for four other offenders and one involving Milly’s phone.

A Met police spokesman said: “Rebekah Brooks had been rebailed to return to a South London police station on a date in early August and has not therefore been charged today.”

The date of August 16 was set aside at the Westminster magistrate’s court in Central London for the eight accused to appear there. If convicted they could face up to two years in prison.

Mrs Brooks issued a statement strait away that she is innocence. Mrs Brooks and her husband are close friend of David Cameron and her husband goes horse riding with Mr Cameron.

Mrs Brooks said: “I am not guilty of these charges.

“I did not authorise, nor was I aware of, phone hacking under my editorship.

“I am distressed and angry that the CPS has reached this decision when they knew all the facts and were in a position to stop the case at this stage.

“The charge concerning Milly Dowler is particular upsetting not only as it is untrue but also because I have spent my journalistic career campaigning for victims of crimes. I will vigorously defend these allegations.”

Brooks also faces three counts of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.  Mrs Brooks and her husband who is a race horse trainer, are accused of the same offence have to appear at Southwark crown court in London on September 26.

Downing Street did, for once, not comment regarding the charges made on Friday.  Wow, that makes a change – no comments – no white washing.

Lord Justice Leveson headed a public inquiry and it ended after 97 days, on Friday. It was held at the Royal Courts of Justice in Central London. He will produce his report as soon as possible.
