NO JUSTICE NO PUNISHMENT

Angry crime protesters have discovered that the police let paedophiles and rapists off with a slap on the wrist.

They found out that 65 sex offenders only received a warning from the Cumbria Police and the police did admit it. It appears it saves an awful lot of paperwork.

Without seeming to be on the site of the police but they got a point because the court is so lenient at the moment that going through all the writing of reports the judge only then gives them a warning.

For years we were told that the prisons were full up over the limit. Now the government closed 16 prisons which supposed bursting at their seams. Those prisons were closed down with the promise to built a super  prison. Will that promised be kept? On the other hand, people are starving because of austerity introduced yet new prisons are being built. What a cock-eyed politics?

Therefore the judges most probably were told to give warning or short sentence only because the prisons are full. It leaves the victims without justice done and the public in danger.

Mr Cameron promised in his election campaign that he will stamp down on crime. Amongst all the other promises which were never kept and no intention of keeping them because he done it for the second time and did not keep them in the first place.
Paedophiles and rapists are one of those crimes which almost incurable. But at the same time the public has to be protected. Although prison only takes them off the street for awhile but it is not a cure.

Crime like paedophiles and rape is one of the worst and has an effect on the victims for the rest of their lives. Therefore it is irresponsible for the police not to take it seriously and do the paperwork to be put into the court.

If prison sentences, in almost all the cases, are not a deterrent a caution is certainly not stopping them to re-offend.  Surely the police must be aware of it.

CAMERON ABANDONED ANOTHER PROMISE

In his election manifesto he promised to be tough on crime. Looking back it makes it obvious that he never met one of his promises. UK and especially the major cities are swamped by crime and the police had a hard job before to keep it down. Therefore the Conservatives gave this promise to get voters on their site because people were fed-up being attacked on the streets and in their houses.

Yes, the Conservatives won the election, only by a minority and built a coalition with the Liberal Democrats.
The moment they were in power they abandon most if not all of their promises including the one being tough on crimes. Furthermore, they cut the police force right down in sacking 16,000 police officers at a time when the streets were riddle with crimes. Especially the elderly and disabled people were not safe because they couldn’t fight back.

Now the Home Secretary Theresa May announced that she will half the sums for crime prevention.  London will cut from £57million to £23million in 2013/14.  Wales from £3.1million to £1.2million.

This will affect the CCTV which is the greatest help to catch criminals, youth project, street lighting and gang prevention work.

No wonder Theresa May is the favourite of David Cameron in spite of her many mess-ups and frequent calls for her to be forced out or her willingly resign from her post.

These further cuts will also show in losing thousands of staff and especially 6,500 frontline officers.

All these reduction will provoke more crime and it will backfire in having more criminals locked up in what they claim in overfilled prisons. This also will result into more cost of keeping these criminals which in the long run does not justify the means of cutting down the police force as well as on crime prevention. When you cut down the impact has also to be looked at. This apparently is not the case made by the government and therefore it will have a chaotic impact on the public.

Next month there will be an election of 41 police and crime prevention commissioners. They are not given an idea what the budget will be and only after 15 November they will have to face the budget they have to work with.  The new commissioners will be in charge of chief constables and take over crime prevention budgets. This is not democracy as it should be. In a democracy all the facts are on the table and the candidates are able to discuss the situation with voters.

Apparently the cities which were worst hit by last year riots have to face the biggest cut. Birmingham will be cut from £1.5million to £620,000, Manchester from £1million to £415,000 and Leeds from £1.1million to £478,000.

CUTTING ALL THE BENEFITS AND SECURITY BY CUTTING DOWN THE POLICE AND THEIR FUNDING MAKES YOU WONDER IF THEY FIND ANYTHING ELSE TO THROW AT THE PUBLIC.  THEY FORGOT THAT IS IT THE PUBLIC WHO VOTED THEM IN AND NOW THEY ARE KICKING THE PUBLIC IN THE TEETH NON-STOP.

TWO CRIME FAMILIES COSTS £37 MILLION - Updated 23 August, 2014

UPDATE: 23 August, 2014 -- Why is that £37million taxpayers'money are wasted on criminals? Surely there must be a way of closing them down and with the new law confiscated their properties, other assets and cash to be spend on honest, hard working people who can not cope any more.

This is a crime in itself to spent £37milllion on two warring crime families in Birmingham. The inner-city gangster who includes the notorious Johnson Crew and Burger Bar Boys costs the taxpayers so far £37 million in Birmingham alone. Their three generations are responsible for the costs of prison, health and probation in the last 30 years.

All this does not include social benefits and educations.

It is assumed that a murder costs £1.5million to be investigated and brought to court. An attempted murder cost the taxpayers £500,000 and criminal use of firearms £169,000.

Keith Barton remarked that it would be cheaper to pay every family one million pound to keep out of trouble.

The Johnson Crew and the Burger Bar Boys came to the attention nationwide with the murder of Letisha Shakespeare and Charlene Ellis.  They were killed by a drive by shooting on New Year in 2009. Four men were convicted two years later. The girls were 17 and 18 years old.  The gangs motto, belief it of not, is “Revenge, Revenue, Respect”.

This situation described here is only the cost of one city and it is totally shocking. What must be the total? Surely there must be an answer somewhere to curb or cut crime. Certainly the soft footing of the government is doing now, is nothing but a joke. This soft footing is applied only to safe on prison budget but in the long run it is more expensive as this case shows.

Law-abiding, hardworking people have to foot the bill which isn’t fair. A harsh sentence which would keep them off the street from a start and it might be deterrent to the younger member of the family, would be far cheaper in the long run. Furthermore, there is the no-job situation which turns youngster to crime and getting involved in gangs? Of course, there is always the incurable criminal but this would be a lower number as it is now.

This enormous amount of money could have been spent on creating jobs which also would have saved state benefit. The whole public is aware of this solution and thinks it is the way to go forward but the government. Is the government really that arrogant, reclusive, way above on a pedestal that they can’t think this out or take advice from ordinary people?

BOB DIAMOND BARCLAYS EX CHIEF EXECUTIVE - Update 4 March, 2015

UPDATE: 4 March, 2015 -- Looking back at the scandalous period the result of Bob Diamond's severance money is beyond any description.  Bob Diamond part of the Libor scandal which caused 12,000 savers losing their money; costing the taxpayers £500million is being beyond any belief what happened in the banking system. Not one of the top executives were prosecuted. Thousands of bank clerks lost their jobs because banks, involved in the Libor scandal, cut back to pay their fines.

Bob Diamond even refused to give up his £2million salaries and was allowed to resign, not to be sacked as any ordinary person causing fraud would have been. Today it is said that he received at least £20million severance money with his salary, bonuses and shares.  He soon set up an investment bank in South Africa and all these years earned high profits on buying and selling in South Africa, Nigeria and Botswana. He is now worth an estimated £105million and is back in the City of London.

Bob Diamond's life and career as far as we know it. Ever since the banks’ executives are getting sky high bonuses on top of their salaries which increase by 40 per in the last two years, Bob Diamond has been in and out of newspapers’ headlines.

Bob Diamond is the Chief Executive of Barclays Bank. Barclays bank and so far three others had been found out that they were monopolizing the interest rates. It is called Libor and it occurs when one bank lends to another and keeps the interest rates high.

Mr Diamond, 60, was one of nine children born in Concord, Massachusetts, USA. His parents were school teachers.

He also started as a lecturer at a university but changed over to investment banking at Morgan Stanley as a bond trader in 1979. Later he joined Credit Suisse First Boston.

Mr Diamond joined Barclays in 1996 as the head of investments banking division, Barclays Capital.
Now comes the interesting point that he narrowly missed in 2004 to be Barclays Chief Executive but at the start of last year he managed to be Chief Executive. Since it was at the beginning of last year it makes you wonder whether there was not more behind than meet the eye.

He is married and has three children. He love playing golf and is a great supporter of Chelsea. He often watches the team from the best suite at Stamford Bridge. Well that again is an eye opener that he would be such a great supporter of Chelsea. It is also said that he flies many time to the USA to watch his beloved Boston Red Sox baseball team.

Furthermore, Mr Diamond sits on board of the Old Vic Production and is a trustee of the Mayor’s fund for London.

Earlier on it was stated that if he was forced out of Barclays he would stand to receive a £20million severance package. After all they done to banking which in any other industry would be criminal that shouldn’t be paid.  But knowing how they stick together he will receive it. It also had been revealed that Mr Diamond made around £100million out of banking.

It is people like that who had a free hand because Margaret Thatcher de-regulated the banking system. There never was a credit crunch as such. They hoodwink the public with that and all the time there were millions and billions of bonuses being paid out while the public was pressured more and more.

The quicker they get back to the old banking system the better. PM David Cameron already starts to build a wall to protect them. At a summit in Brussels he stated that doesn't need to be told what to do he knows what to do. This will only lengthen the suffering but eventually it will have to be done.
