TORIES CUT £235MILLION FLOOD DEFENCE BUDGET

To be sure not one river was dredged so far and we are in the middle of September.

Prime Minister David Cameron would not have to play the sympathiser every winter and visit the flooded area if he had not cut £235million off the defence scheme.

With all due respect but it is nothing but a pretend of sympathy and again another promise to increase the budget.  He played now that game for the last four winters.

He even denied that the flood defence scheme budget was cut by £235million since 2011.

Again he had the nerve to look at the people who lost all their goods and their homes will be wet for months to come and tell them that he will increase the flood defence budget by £280million while at the same time he cut the budget

How can he do this without padding an eyelid? Make no mistake it will the same next winter and the winter after.  He has done it too often to be still believed. Beside all the previous winters where he visited, show "great sympathy" and proposed a great increase and now it is revealed that all this time he cut the budget.

Now the weather forecast is even worse as a cycle of storm and torrential rain will move across the UK. It is incredible how people will cope in the already flooded areas.

The only good dead Mr Cameron done is to deploy the army of 500 men and 1,000 are on standby.

Of course, Mr Cameron denied the North and South division and the 20 percent flood defence cut.

He said: “In Yorkshire we spent £100million on flood defences since I became Prime |Minister. We plan to spend an extra £280million.” So why does he cut "235million of the budget?

Mr Cameron visited York which is completely flooded by three feet of water from two rivers. So far the costs are estimate to £1,5billion. When you compare it with the great saving of £235million from his cuts it shows the worst arithmetic the Tories have done. Finally the costs of this flood will be doubled and trebled if not more.

CHANCELLOR GEORGE OSBORNE READ WRONG BUDGET

First of all, his opening speech left already a lot of question. Chancellor George Osborne stated that the economy improved substantially and will improve even more.

The economic table in March showed a 0.3 per cent which was down from the forecast of 0.6 per cent and just about avoided a recession.

Furthermore, during the last three month the FTSE shows almost every day a minus and the value of shares have dropped by over £1,300.

Another statement he made was: “We are in this together.”  It was said the last time in 2010 and the result was an introduction of austerity in 2012 which brought the general public into starvation, relying on food banks and with Bedroom Tax people lost their homes. Some live in one room rented accommodation with their family or on the street.

At the same time of austerity the rich got super rich and even The Telegraph which combines the list was shocked.  There are now over 4,000 multi-millionaires and multi-billionaires in the UK and the highest number in the world according to the Telegraph.
All created in the last three years.

That sentence: ”We are all in this together” was a lie in 2010 and it is a lie today. The gap between rich and poor was never so wide since the Victorian ages. To achieve that within three years; is it something to be proud of?

The austerity to balance the books was nothing but a con beside they added £500billion to the National debts.  Now again, they spoke of balancing the books and quite proudly to finish the job they started. Will there be more debts?

Newspaper The Guardian revealed that £93billion a year is given to businesses in huge subsidies and tax breaks. This fact is never mentioned in any Tory budget.

According to the Guardian it means £3,000 a year every household will lose out on.
Many companies received the largest public grants during the last five years of the Tory-led Coalition.  The same companies pay very little or no tax.

Yet, Chancellor George Osborne and Prime Minister are determined to cut the Welfare again and this time by a massive £12billion. Above all they announced joyfully, last Friday, they found the whole sum to be cut.

The Guardian analysis found that the companies received a £14,5billion in direct subsidies and grants which is more than the Welfare cuts of £12billion.

Although The Guardian is determined to find out where the real trouble lies they had to admit it is hard to trace because the money is channelled through many arms.

It also had been revealed that the incentives included the low corporation tax rate is the lowest anywhere in the G7, tax exemption for research and government support.
It also shows, while companies constantly increase to receive handout from the government their corporation tax is falling at the time.

During the financial year 2012-13 they received £58.2billion of subsidies grants and corporation tax benefits and during the same year they paid £41,3billion corporation tax.

The Prime Minister was talking about the merry-go-round where workers paid tax and then receive benefits because their income is too low. He planned to stop it and demand the companies to pay a higher wages.  Most probably the companies will then receive more incentives.

This budget was all for the rich and cutting even deeper into the poverty and disable people/

The fanfare was about the £9 per hour living wage but it will not be implemented fully till 2020.  I was nothing but put on a false show because people are desperate now to receive a proper wage to live on. Furthermore, by 2020 the cost of living will have risen as well, therefore it will not benefit.

It was noted that Ian Duncan Smith, head of the Department of Work and pensions, cheered and hopped about every time another cut in the Welfare was announced. The man is most disgraceful.

He handed £44millioom bonuses out last year even so he can not get his IT system going for the reform of the Universal credit. He also stopped any benefit he could find. It is estimated that over 1,000 people committed suicide or died of hunger because their benefit was stopped and there he was cheering and jumping at every announcement of a benefit cut.

He also forgot that he was up for fraud in 2006 when he claimed taxes and expenditure for his Wife’s company. The company did not exist. He got away because the MPs’ expenditure scandal broke lose and he somehow slipped through the net.

TORIES FIRST 50 DAYS 50 TERRIBLE DEEDS 2015 - Update: 26 April, 2017

Update 26 April, 2017 -That was the situation in 2015 but nothing has changed for the better as a matter of fact it is getting now worst when the impact of £12billion Welfare cuts and £16billion of Council cuts come into effect. PM May, took over from Cameron, has sanction it which comes on top of already hard up working people and she is campaigning for Tories to win again. Where do these people get the thick nerve from?

UPDATE:  7 July, 2015  --
According to a report in the newspaper The Guardian a big demonstration has been organised outside the Parliament, tomorrow. It will also co-inside with several other strikes on the tube, Barnet Council and so on. They demonstrating against the Welfare cuts which will be announced tomorrow.

It seems that people had enough of all the lies of austerity to balance the books while the rich double and trebled their wealth. As indicated below the Tories had already cut a number of services and now the biggest watershed is still to come.

People can not and will not take it any more.

The Tories were only in office for 50 days but the Daily Mirror could already make a list of 50 deeds which only hurt the most vulnerable people. Well done David Cameron and his disciples.

Yet, the main impact of the £12billions Welfare cuts is still to come on Wednesday, 8 July, 2015, in an ‘emergency budget’ which is another cover to get their dirty deeds through quickly enough before they start their summer holiday the next day. When the Parliament return , at the beginning of September, the Labour Party will choose their leader which adds power to the  opposition. Therefore, the urgency of the so called ‘emergency budget’.
At the coming budget they show their full inhuman, harsh cuts in their austerity measures.

This is only an extract of the full list the Daily Mirror has put together, which is 50 deeds altogether.

-         They already plan to cancel to show the NHS waiting list and staff  level targets which shows the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt up. They will also cut the budget of the NHS again.  Jeremy Hunt ‘s salary is £134,565 and rakes in another £972,538 from his educational company Hotcourses, all in one year and all his expenses paid.

-         David Cameron in his election promised that the £12billion Welfare cut would not hit disable payment. Now he was asked in the House of Common; he would not repeat his promise and dogged the question. Another broken promise barely 50 days beck as PM

-         David Cameron promised working families a 30 hours of free child care. At least he admitted, for a change, that it was not possible, but he must have known before and there goes another promise.

-         The Human Rights Act to be abolished and replaced by British Bill or Rights

-         Doctor and Nurses are understaffed 1,800 times and at just one NHS board. The Betsy Cadwal advised the Health Board.  It runs three district hospitals and 22 small hospitals in North Wales.

-         Legal Aids will face another cut by 8.7 per cent.

-         Theresa May, Home Secretary, issued a 48 page Bill for a crackdown of legal highs.  In other words “guilty until proven innocent”.  No mentioning of Advisory Council of the Misuse of Drugs which is an expert body.

-         David Cameron hinted to cut tax credits which add to the low wages.  The PM fails again the working class who he was trumpeting about in his election.  Another broken promise.

His election campaign was nothing but absolute dishonest and just to catch voters.

-         Another great promise about the 7-days  NHS does not add up. A statement comes from British Medical Association, chief executive, Dr Mark Porter. There is a full report on my Website.

-         Newly installed at No 10 Downing Street, emails are self destructive after three months. PM office is trying to avoid scrutiny from Freedom of Information to hold the leaders accountable.

-         Benefit official nearly doubled the amount of sanctions of people claiming Employment and Supplementary allowances.

-         An award winning policeman Damian O’Reily quit because he could not take anymore of the cuts of the police force.

-         The Government sold 150million Royal Mail shares to the City fatcats and none to the general public.

-         Now comes the best bit and the most stupid politic invented by the Tories.  Because of the Bedroom Tax it cost the councils £80million in less than a year.  They have to hand out emergency funds to the people who are at the verge of losing their homes.

-         Chancellor George Osborne hardly could control his grin when the Queen spoke about Northern Powerhouse.  Two weeks later the plan was cancelled and people found out they were used again by the Tories, this time for votes.

-         A 200,000 strong campaign was launched to find out how many people died after declared fit for work and they lost their benefit and no money to live on.  Ian Duncan Smith, head of Dept of Works and Pension, said that it is a “disgraceful” campaign. So far he has not named any number.

-         The choice between eating and heating your home is a nightmare for poverty stricken people. There are now fuel banks opening as well as food banks. People who are entitled to it will receive a £49 voucher.

All this the Government inflicts on a country which is the sixth richest country in the world.

It is a disgrace.

-         The benefit cap was already reduced from £26,000 to £23,000 in London and to £20,000 in the rest of the UK which will hurt most large families and with rents rising dramatically it will hit them badly.

-         Plans already on the table to reduce Carer Allowances and people will lose 40per cent. It will save $1billion as part of the £12billion of the Welfare budget but it will be a devastating blow to the carer who is dedicated to a very hard job.

-         They also axe 30,000 nurses because they were not born in the UK.

-         They also cancelled the Independent Living Allowance. It will hit 18,0 people which most disabled.  It is only 18,000 people which this Government will not make their live a bit bearable and it only cost £320million.

-         They turning them over to the councils but the councils’ budget are being cut again which will follow next with £16billion.  How will these severely disabled people receive the money they need to live independently? Not to forget that the carer also will be hit by cuts.

This is the worst dirty trick David Cameron and George Osborne could have handed out. They have no moral, no respect or no care towards these people.

IN JUNE 2013 ALONE £2BILLION FUEL TAX FOR THE TREASURY -- Updated 11 Feb., 2015

UPDATE: 11 February 2015 -- Petrol prices have dropped but the Treasury is still getting their full share of around £2billion a month. It would not be surprising, if the Tories win the petrol prices will go up again, like a rocket. It would not be a surprise all this sudden drop of crude oil price is for the benefit of a Tory win. Through their bankers, financiers and Bilderberg they have a long reach.  As for the oil producers it will not make any difference if they reduce it for a year. They got more than enough money sitting about.

UPDATE: 7 February 2014 -- At the moment the petrol prices are reduced by around £0.10 which gives the car owners a great relief but is amazing that all of sudden it can be done in spite of the Chancellor threaten, last September, to put a tax rise of 5p on it. Has it anything to do with the general election coming up in 2015? Hopefully voters do not fall for all the promises the second time; promises in 2010 which none had been fulfilled. What a con!

UPDATE:  20 August 2013 - A news report stated the motorist is to be warned there is 5p per litre tax rise on the way and will be in force before the end of next month. The Petrol Retailer Association gives the reason of rising cost of crude oil and the unrest in Egypt and Syria. The increase would bring the cost of petrol close to 145 which will hit hard with all the other increases of 10 per cent on energy supplies and railways. Now only the postage which is always increased before Christmas and bus fares which also always go up around January are missing. Yet David Cameron does not lift a finger to stop it.

The AA official figure shows that motorist handed over £2billion in fuel duty to the Treasury.  This is for one month alone. The increase of petrol sale generated in June a £929million. In spite of that petrol prices are rising again, on the quite.  Diesel also contributed £929million of fuel duty last month.

It is a disgrace to find out that the motorist has to pay almost 40pc on the price of petrol and with added VAT it comes to 60pc per litre. Surely that must be highest priced petrol in Europe if not in the world.
The fuel duty increased from 45.82p per litre in 2001 to 57.95 as of today.

Under pressure from the newspaper The Sun and its campaign “Keep It Down” the Chancellor George Osborne frozen the duty for the last two years. Since it is the last two years would my suspicion be wrong to think that it could be in the next budget in September?

It wasn’t so long ago that prices reach a £140.9 and the Transport Union of the haulage drivers threatened with strike. The Petrol Tanker Drivers promised they would join and back them up. This would have meant that every major road exit would have been blocked and the country would have been at a standstill. Even David Cameron and George Osbourne could not effort it and the prices went down to £130.9.

However, ever since prices started to increase again on the quiet. At the moment they are at 137.9 already. Will this Government ever learn?  Every one can see their method and it is no madness. They let it go up slowly and when they have to face the consequence of a possible strike they bring it down again but in the meantime they have million of pounds in their pocket. It is a cat and mouse game but of course to the cost of the motorists.

CAMERON CHILLAXED TWICE AT A EU'S SUMMIT MEETING

David Cameron was caught out once before when on a Commonwealth meeting he vanished a day before the meeting was finished. There again he could and should have sorted out several points with the rest of the heads of other commonwealth countries. It was remarked upon by other leaders that the Prime Minister should have remained but where did he go? He went to a vineyard and tasted their various products.

This time, at the EU’s summit meeting where it is was most vital to achieve the best agreement on the budget for the next seven years Mr Cameron vanished twice to eat in fancy restaurants. Surely the menu of the EU summit meeting was of the best there was available.

He promised the taxpayers that he would do his utmost and will negotiate hard but after a very few hours he vanished. He went to a top restaurant called Brasserie 1898 which has specialities of a variety of Belgian beers and chateaubriand steak costing £44.50.

Just before the summit super he was gone again for a fish dinner. The final lunch was baby venison and bottles of wine costing £120 each were served. Although the other menus were not reported but judging by this one it must be assumed the other lunch and dinners couldn’t be less extravagant. Only Mr Cameron can explain the reason for him having to vanish just before each lunch and dinner was served.

Again Mr Cameron wasted and lost time for important negotiations with other European leaders in the two days crunch budget summit meeting. This costs the taxpayers hundred of thousands of pounds in which nothing was achieved. Brussels has postponed it to another meeting in the New Years which adds more expenses. They definitely know how to live it up while the public in Britain gets pushed to the financial limit and soon beyond.

It us doubtful that he became now Holy Joe because we do not hear any more of his escapades. Mr Cameron, most probably, has the thumb on the press not to report it.

CAMERON ABANDONED ANOTHER PROMISE

In his election manifesto he promised to be tough on crime. Looking back it makes it obvious that he never met one of his promises. UK and especially the major cities are swamped by crime and the police had a hard job before to keep it down. Therefore the Conservatives gave this promise to get voters on their site because people were fed-up being attacked on the streets and in their houses.

Yes, the Conservatives won the election, only by a minority and built a coalition with the Liberal Democrats.
The moment they were in power they abandon most if not all of their promises including the one being tough on crimes. Furthermore, they cut the police force right down in sacking 16,000 police officers at a time when the streets were riddle with crimes. Especially the elderly and disabled people were not safe because they couldn’t fight back.

Now the Home Secretary Theresa May announced that she will half the sums for crime prevention.  London will cut from £57million to £23million in 2013/14.  Wales from £3.1million to £1.2million.

This will affect the CCTV which is the greatest help to catch criminals, youth project, street lighting and gang prevention work.

No wonder Theresa May is the favourite of David Cameron in spite of her many mess-ups and frequent calls for her to be forced out or her willingly resign from her post.

These further cuts will also show in losing thousands of staff and especially 6,500 frontline officers.

All these reduction will provoke more crime and it will backfire in having more criminals locked up in what they claim in overfilled prisons. This also will result into more cost of keeping these criminals which in the long run does not justify the means of cutting down the police force as well as on crime prevention. When you cut down the impact has also to be looked at. This apparently is not the case made by the government and therefore it will have a chaotic impact on the public.

Next month there will be an election of 41 police and crime prevention commissioners. They are not given an idea what the budget will be and only after 15 November they will have to face the budget they have to work with.  The new commissioners will be in charge of chief constables and take over crime prevention budgets. This is not democracy as it should be. In a democracy all the facts are on the table and the candidates are able to discuss the situation with voters.

Apparently the cities which were worst hit by last year riots have to face the biggest cut. Birmingham will be cut from £1.5million to £620,000, Manchester from £1million to £415,000 and Leeds from £1.1million to £478,000.

CUTTING ALL THE BENEFITS AND SECURITY BY CUTTING DOWN THE POLICE AND THEIR FUNDING MAKES YOU WONDER IF THEY FIND ANYTHING ELSE TO THROW AT THE PUBLIC.  THEY FORGOT THAT IS IT THE PUBLIC WHO VOTED THEM IN AND NOW THEY ARE KICKING THE PUBLIC IN THE TEETH NON-STOP.

JACK STRAW CRITICISES GORDON BROWN

From a start Jack Straw has no right or reason to criticise Gordon Brown. When he was Justice Secretary and the mother of the murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence managed to bring the murder case into the court once more. Jack Straw named the high profile witnesses which the police tried so hard to keep secret. Stephen was killed by four youth who had 'connection' and therefore the verdict was not guilty. Therefore, witnesses were scared to stand up. They were given police protection and they gave true statements. Jack Straw named them openly.

Gordon Brown might not have the personality but he was a great Chancellor and in his last budget he increased a lot of the benefits to help people just after the credit crunch. The UK would be in a much better shape if the Labour Party had won but miraculously the queue at the voting station in the Midland and North were building up and were up to 200 people long by 10 pm. Usually it was almost empty by 9.30 pm. Then they closed it with these entire people still there not being able to vote. These areas were always Labour’s stronghold.

However, take one example from Gordon Brown’s budget which was the winter fuel supplement. Till that was introduced old people were dying by the dozen. The last winter fuel supplement was paid £250 and Gordon Brown promised to increase in the following winter to £300. The Conservative came in and it was reduced straight away to £200 and now they talking about to stop it altogether and they will.

He also wanted to increase the pay of the police, military, nurses and not one word about breaking the NHS

Therefore, Jack Straw shouldn’t criticise Gordon Brown. He might not have the charm of Tony Blair, but this is another story altogether, but he understood hardship and knew money was there to be able to help.

He had 1.5 million unemployment at the height of the credit crunch and the UK had improved its budget to 1 per cent which vanished within a couple of  months when the Conservatives came in. Ever since there is nothing but recessions.

REMEMBER ELECTION 2010

CAMERON WILL HAVE NOW ANOTHER LAUGH AT US
AND MAY STILL LAUGHING BUT SLOWLY RUNNING OUT OF IT WITH BREXIT

UPDATE:  24, February 2015 ---  Cameron demands the Green Party to take part in the TV Election Programme.  It is surprising so shortly after Farage put his foot in with Paris shooting. All this time Cameron would not have even UKIP in the TV Election Discussion. Is it a new move to ensure a win using the Greens as a standby since he knows the UKIP lost too many voters with Farage showing at long last his real face and the voters also cotton on that UKIP was established as a standby? The UKIP poll must have dropped greatly for Cameron wanting the Green Party there. However, the Green Party did not give a good interview. Is that Cameron's aim?

UPDATE:  13 Oct., 2014  ---  What will it be the next time to force a win for the Tories? PM David Cameron already working on a exclusion of Scottish MPs'vote. If he gets this new law through, as promised, by the end of the year, it will keep 40 Labour MPs from Scotland out. It will be a clear winner for the Tories. The danger comes from UKIP. Even the Leader Nigel Farage was a Tory and by now so many Tories MPs have defected that is looks like a twin which will close up again after the next General Election.  Napoleon once said: "Never trust a traitor." There is a lot of truth in it.  It looks like the UKIP pretends to be an alternative but but too many facts speak against it.

Farage promise a referendum of YES/NO for EU membership because he knows people want it and they demanded for years but he is a MEP and campaigned and won again.  He promised immigration control which is a bit contradicting being of French ancestry and married to a German  wife. He plays the average Joe but was educating in a top Dulwich school costing £17,000 a year and had been a Tory MP for years.  It was amazing the win in Clacton which was a stronghold of the Tories.  Was it a hand-over to blind the public? Would it be surprising? No.  Is the UKIP a pre-arrangement for if the Tories will not get the majority; the UKIP would top it up?

Looking at the great mismanagement of the Coalition brought back memories of the scandal surrounding the actual Election 2010.

Surely it never happened before in all its history that at 10 pm the Polling Station was closed on queues of 300 to 500 voters still outside on each station.  Over the years at that time any polling station was getting empty in the last half-an-hour. So what happened this time? Was there purposely a delay?

Voters were furious and senior politician demanded an inquiry. However, as the time went there was never another mentioning of an inquiry and if the public was not informed of the result.

A very obvious fact was that most of the polling stations being closed with hundreds of voters still being outside were mostly in the heartland of Labour. It was polling station like Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, South Yorkshire, Sutton Coldfield and Leeds. Also in the East End of London and south were there is a strong Labour support.

Before the General Election in 2010 David Cameron and his Tory Party made a contract with the people and promised if they would not keep it the people could kick them out. Well none of it was kept.  Well, what are people waiting for?

Now to analyse it, if we can, is that the Conservative snatched number of seats in the Northern Heartland. Was it due to some organised delay so the queue of the voters would build-up and then waiving the rules and regulation about to be locked out?  It is a very unusual event which never happened before and it  bound to make suspicions grow.

After Margaret Thatcher and friends were in power the country was like dead. No roads were swept, parks not kept and schools and council houses fell into disrepair. The Conservatives managed to bring the country down to 5 million unemployed because Margaret Thatcher destroyed the coal mines, ship building, steel industry and the people had nowhere to go to find work. She won the second and third election on the back of first allowing them to buy their council houses and the second with privatising the rail, electricity and gas and blind folding the people with offering shares in these industries. Soon it started to backfire because with unemployment the people had to sell their homes and lost their deposit and sell back their share with a loss. Nowadays people are suffering with high inflated prices of these industries because the real benefiting shareholders want all the money they can get. Margaret Thatcher only allowed 10 per cent of every privatisation to be sold to the public. Guess where the rest went?

Coming back to the great mess of the last election, it was against the law because every voter over 18 of age has the right to vote. That is democracy and if no inquiry was held which is plausible otherwise the shamble would have come out and the Conservative Party might have to face a different result.

When Labour came into power they took over a country completely on its knees and they brought the country right up to the 21st century. Only one criticism has to be made that Mr Blair listen too much to Mr Bush and got involve into two illegal wars.

GORDON BROWN

Mr Brown might not have that flair and showmanship like Toni Blair but he was a great financier and had the country up to 1 per cent GDP during a great economic pressure. Within a month or two Cameron had that demolished and now most properly will have a treble dip recession.

Mr Brown in his last budget had a lot of small increases to help various hard-up people and he would have had the country by now well out of it. He also announced an increase to the budget of the NHS, police, military forces and he would have never have cut tens of thousand of people in these jobs.

It was a cautious but good budget why people turned on Labour or were made to, we will never know

DEMANDS CHANCELLOR OSBORNE STEP-DOWN -- UPDATE 26 May 2014

UPDATE: 26 May 2014 -- Looking back to this report from July 2012 the Chancellor has not improved and David Cameron, as always, stood by him. The great shout about the improved economy by 1.3 per cent is nothing in compare to Germany's three per cent and USA seven per cent. They took over from Labour with 2.3 per cent which vanished within three months.

The former Tory chief whip Lord Ryder gave a full criticism on David Cameron and Mr Osborne. He is accused of being obsessed with spin. He further ridiculed them stating that the Chancellor and Mr Cameron were watching 24-hour news. Lord Ryder thinks they are news editors and news managers but no strategists.  He recommended further that Mr Osborne should stop being a Tory election strategist.  He added: “The Treasury deserves a Chancellor to be there in a full-time basis.”

Mr Osborne is increasingly in demand to quit after the last figures this week showed another shrinking of 0.7 per cent of the economy between April and June. This marked as the deepest double-dip recession for 50 years.

After all these demands for Mr Osborne resignation various minister hinted they would be willing to step into his shoes. Vince Cable passed remarks that he would be willing to replace him. However, Mr Cable pointed out at the same time that they have a collective agreed policy and he will not make radically changes. He would plan to build on what George Osborne has already achieved.

Excuse me here for a minute. George Osborne achieved a double-dip recession and if Mr Cable plans to build on it there would be no use to change the Chancellor. Mr Cable's remark is absolutely incredible.

Former Chancellor Lord Lamont advised strongly for Mr Osborne to give up his strategy role. This again is incredible and unbelievable. Mr Osborne made a mess of the budget which is always the flagship to follow and should stand. Since his budget in March he did so many U-turn the public lost count. Yet, Mr Osborne has a strategy role in Downing Street. His budget was a mess of which he had months to prepare it; his economy is a mess and yet he has a strategy role.

Tory MP Nadine Dorries demanded replace Mr Osborne with Mr William Hague.  Another candidate was Defence Secretary Philip Hammond.

With all due respect but looking at all their records of achievement in their present job there surely won’t be an improvement.

A statement from the Chancellor said that he was focussing “110 per cent” on the economy but he had to take time out to meet the US Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney. Now we see how heavily Mr Osborne is committed and he had to tare himself away to meet Mr Romney. Was this at the Fund Raising Dinner or lunch for $17,000 to $25,000 per seat? If so will there be another parliamentary expense for the tax payers to pay?

Why Mitt Romney? They didn’t meet Mr Hollande when he was campaigning. I hope the people of the USA think before they put their vote.

The next news is naughty but a good laugh. According to an online poll for a national newspaper showed that the cat Larry at Downing Street beaten Mr Osborne by popularity votes. Larry had 24 per cent and Mr Osborne had 13 per cent. Maybe we should replace Mr Osborne with Larry.

Apparently the US has its vehicle in forward gear while the UK and Europe has it in reverse.

It is purely a result of decision makers making the right plans. Central Banks reduced their interest rates almost to zero in a very short time. While the Bank of England only cut the interest rate down to 0.25 per cent in the last few months.

President Obama’s administrators did not listen to calls to increase taxes and cut government spending. Instead they carried on with major infrastructure projects which brought billions of dollars to the economy.
Yes, they are closed to Asia which helped with exports but the UK having the European market but it is only half the export of which the other half should make a different.

The successful up-turn of the USA shows investors as safe haven and it can borrow at a rock-bottom price because of it.

Seeing all this evidence Mr Osborne still refuses to follow their footstep. He won’t use the golden opportunity to borrow cheaply to boost spending.

An expert Paul Dales, of Capital Economics said: “It is a good time for the UK government to borrow.
“And it could do this subtly by locking in long-term funding at these low, low rates.”

CAMERON PROMISES, PROMISES AND NOW MAY updated 29 Sept., 2017

Now May does the same - all promises in GE2017, elected  and dropped them in Queen's Speech.

Looking back over the years nothing has changed. He still promises and does not keep it.

The UK Prime Minister David Cameron visited the troops in the Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He gave the troops a promise that seriously injured armed forces will be paid £130 a week for life. They will also get any further vital support for their injuries.

This would means for injured personnel to get top-of-the-range prosthetic limbs free on the NHS.

They will go straight to the front of the queues at hospitals.

Jobcentres will give unemployed people help to find work which fits the particularly injured person.

IVF for partner of servicemen who have suffered groin injuries.

Mr Cameron said: “The military covenant is all about the country saying to our armed forces we respect and revere you and we are going to do more for you.

“We are saying that with disability benefits the military will have a special set of circumstances so they get a special deal.

“It is one of the many ways we should respect our armed services for what they do for us.”

Brave and glorious sounding words as always Mr Cameron delivers but he is also known and too many times to promise and not deliver. Another thought comes to mind that the Government announced this month to make 20,000 regular soldiers and 17 major units redundant by 2020.

The Government will change the benefit system and a new one called Personal Independence Payment for all working-age people with serious disabilities. Under the new scheme any previous claimant will be re-examined and many their cash will be stopped.

The troops will not be re-examined and therefore face no humiliation or cash stopped.

Troop welfare campaigner Col Richard Kemp, ex-commander of UK forces in Afghanistan, said: “I welcome any move that offers added support to the brave men and women injured serving their country.”

Mr Cameron defended the plans for Army cuts, saying: “I think it’s in everybody’s interest to have a defence budget that really adds up.”  Ahhh such wise words. The defence budget would add up even more if they never entered the Afghanistan war or Iraq. Mr Cameron and his cabinet would have the biggest shock in their lives how much money they would have in the defence budget.

A fine example is Cabinet Office Minister Oliver Letwin’s suggestion to bring the remaining 9,000 troops home next year and that alone would save £3billion.

At the same time Mr Cameron spoke in Helmand he also said that the troops would remain till 2014. Again he saving on his own people instead of caring about other countries.

UK CHANCELLOR GEORGE OSBORNE -- UPDATED 23 May, 2014

UPDATE: After reading this report from 2012 it is interesting in respect that you can see nothing has changed ever since.

Even after calls in 2012 for his resignation, which David Cameron did not accept, Chancellor George Osborne has not issued one good budget ever since.

The country gone to ;pieces with his austerity but still will not change his policy. Even the IMF, Germany and France advised him to stop. Now, he and David Cameron dancing about that they achieved a 0,3 per cent improvement in the economy.

While they are hopping about but ignore Germany three per cent and the USA seven per cent from countries which did not apply austerity. It proves it all while Mr Osborne still carries on with austerity and in spite of it all borrows billions of pounds more.

Let’s go back to March, 2012 when Chancellor George Osborne announced his budget. A budget which surely had been prepared for weeks and read by quite a number of the top politicians.

Eventually when it was read out there was quite an uproar in the House of Commons. Amongst the points which were implemented was the so called Granny tax. An addition which pensioners have to pay if they work on after their retiring age plus National Insurance.

A number of other cuts of previously installed benefits by the Labour Party to help families with children. Additions such as 3p of fuel tax on petrol already sky high and so on.

Since budget was read there were so many u-turns it must be dizzy by now. This does not give a good picture of a financial expert or his colleges who work with him on it. It never happened before that so many points were cancelled after a budget.  In other words Mr Osborne made a mess.

If any ordinary person in a company would produce such an almost useless document he or she would be sacked. But Mr Osborne still carries on as the great Chancellor. Furthermore, the government had a double-dip recession in the first six months in spite the idea of austerity. Anybody with half the knowledge of politics and economics knows a cut-back slows down the economy. The Conservatives inherited not a great economy because of the credit crunch but not as dismal as they make it out. They could have built on it and improved the economy.

Now we come to the Barclays bank scandal where the libor (Interest rates charged on loans from one bank to another) was rigged by top executives.

At the Questioning Time in the House of Commons Mr Osborne tried to shift the blame onto Labour. This immediately backfired because Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls denied any involvement in rigging the Libor.

This statement was furthermore backed by the Bank of England’s deputy governor Paul Tuckers.  He claimed several time that Ed Ball or any of the Gordon Brown’s government were never involved. He emphasized that in 2008 he spoke several times with bank bosses because of the credit crunch.  However, he pointed out that neither the government (Labour) nor the Bank of England ever put pressure on Barclays or any other bank to rig the rates.

Surely Mr Osborne or his adviser should have thought such statement, if not true, has a very short life.  Looking at the almost useless budget and now the embarrassing statement being denied by all parties concerned it makes you wonder if Mr Osborne trying to commit political suicide? In view of this entire incompetent not one word is uttered of resigning or being asked by the Prime Minister to resign.

Mr Tucker stated further he was appalled by the revelations including Barclays fixing the Libor rate. He called it a cesspit and went further that it could be just the tip of the iceberg with corruption rampant across the City.

The Labour Party is now demanding a complete change in the City and Banks.

DOES UK PRIME MINISTER DAVID CAMERON THINK?

The statistic revealed that 625 local Council jobs get cut every day. The statistic might be slightly wrong but not to that extent. This is an incredible amount of job losses which are mostly women. It was also revealed the women out of work are the highest at the moment for 25 years.

Care Centres, libraries, Sure Start children centres, career centres for the young are closing down rapidly.
Even at their own Tories controlled councils there had been cuts and closures done never seen before.
Also these cuts might look good on paper but in reality 625 job losses a day and with no further jobs available they have to be supported by benefit. Being paid by benefit does not produce anything. Therefore, to put it plainly it is money thrown out of the window.

Of all these moves is there an idea for top firms take over all these services which would get as much profit out of it and they proved with all these other privatisation of services. At the same time while they fill their pockets the service is getting rotten. Surely that is so obvious that these top organisations are only in for it to get as money out of it.

Well, the Prime Minister had a good message when people voted overwhelmingly for Labour. However, the Conservatives and David Cameron don’t seem to accept the message and flatly refuse to change their politics.

Even the IMF was warning the UK to change and stop that austerity because it is only for ordinary people while the top never got rich in such a short time. The result also showed that the UK economy is going down.

The result of the government’s austerity is staring them in their faces. They had a double-dip in the last six months while Europe is showing a slow but definite recovery.

In the first few months when the Coalition came into power in 2010 Mr Osborne stated that unemployment is fallen and the economy rising and Britain is coming out of the recession. Although Mr Osborne was preening himself with it but whether he likes it or not it was the result of Mr Browne’s policy and the Labour party’s budget.  It was the result of handling that credit crunch perfectly well.
