PROMISED ECONOMY IMPROVEMENTS GE2015 update 4 August, 2020

Update 4 August, 2020 We hadn't had an economy report since July 2019 which showed a deficit. Now the next thing, my guess, will be to blame CV19. Admittedly, it didn't help but the economy was sinking every year since 2010 despite Austerity or realistically because of Austerity. Cutting Welfare, Wages, Police, Nurses, Doctors, Army, RAF and massively increasing energy tariffs, VAT, never helps. Putting up a smoke screen with contracts which could mean 1 hour of work a week or two just to cover the massive, rapidly increasing unemployment even before CV19.

What will happened now when hopefully CV19 ends. There are  already announcement of big staff reduction by every business big or small. It is any ones guess. Its a horrifying thought but PM is no help at all especially when breaking off with EU at no-deal-Brexit and signing a Trade Agreement with USA including NHS Sale.

Update 18 Oct., 2019 - May resigned and Boris Johnson was chosen by Tories as PM but there is still no sign of Economy Improvement, on the contrary. Last Quarter it showed a Deficit despite the Austerity. Despite May's false promise, last year, to stop Austerity.

Update 23 March, 2018 -- The economy is now so bad, because consumers have long ago run out of money to spent, even the big supermarket chains and corporations are cutting back or going bankrupt. The Tories still take no notice and ploughing on. The Chancellor does not make a Budget any more but just gives Financial Statements. How much longer do they want to carry on like that?

Update 29 Dec., 2017 -- here is another reason for the economy going down. Alarm has been raised of business investment is less by increased payouts to shareholders. Dividends in UK companies increased by 17.5 per cent during the 3 months till September and it is the highest in the world.

May, her Chancellor and the Tories must be well aware of it and it raises many questions. It definitely shows the fatcats are in full reign of cashing in; while living standard and manufacturing going down.

Updated 17 Oct., 2017 - Today, BBC announced the inflation is the worst since April, 2012 and there is no end to it because the Government will not stop cutting or austerity. Most probably the Chancellor in his coming Budget will find some more cuts for the poor and disabled.

Updated 12 Oct., 2017 - British economy had increase of 0.2 per cent. It will be worse when the £12bn welfare cuts and £16bn public service cut come fully into effect. May did not have to add it after all people are already starving and homeless by the hundred thousands.

Update 8 Sept., 2017 - PM May has started Brexit in March 2017 but ever since they dragging it out. Now she wants to introduce a Bill to be voted on, on Monday. Labour will refuse because it will rig Parliament (meaning they can pass laws without MPs' vote), keep EU justice and reduce workers' rights.

Promises, promises, promises and I do not think one was ever kept that's David Cameron and his Tories.

The new PM Theresa May does not seem to be any different or better. She promises to start Brexit off but there is no sign of it and time gets wasted. She too lets the British Steel industry go to the wall while she lets China remove MG and Rover, another loss to steel industry, and let them build Hinkley Nuclear Plant with their 80,000 tonnes of steel which would have been a boost to British Steel.

Wish he would and
the rest of the "Elite
Tories were smearing Labour with lies such as bad economy as they campaigned for the General Election in 2015 and the Tories promised to improve it.

A year later the data from the Insolvency Service showed the number of businesses going bust or are in big trouble have risen

In the first three months of this year 3,694 companies were declared insolvent. It is 5,4 per cent higher then the final three months of 2015.

Out of the 3,694 companies were 2,515 firms which had to close because the creditors could not find the money to pay their outstand bills.

This situation did not help to bring the unemployment down which was another promise given in the GE2015 campaign.

Another gloom of unemployment is looming because of the steel crisis which means tens of thousands of workers trained specially for their jobs yet Cameron and the Tories could not care less.

This crisis followed the collapse of BHS a huge chain store. If a new buyer is not found it will costs 11,000 staff their jobs.

The data also reveals that 20,383 people were declared bankrupt.

After a year in office and PM Cameron's promises not only unfulfilled but the economy even gone worse with no improvement in sight. His smears and lies certainly came back to haunt him. Mr Murdoch does not write about all the failure of the Conservative Party but he is busy drumming up flimsy accusation of anti-Semitism.

REFORM OF UNIVERSAL CREDIT TOO FAR

SUMMARY - Its almost uncountable the numbers of DWP Secr since CONservative are in power and everyone of them is as bad if not worse as the one before.

Update Nov., 2018 - Amber Rudd replaced Ester McVey as DWP Secr - no improvement. Universal Credit still in a mess and people losing their benefits and live; by either starvation or suicide.

David Gauke was replaced by Ester McVey who seems to be even worse. She won a Bedroom Tax court case against a couple whose wife is seriously disabled. The court expenses are paid by taxpayers

David Gauke worked for a finance company which helps tax avoiding. Nice guy. May knows how to pick them.

Update 6 Oct., 2017 -- Damien Green was replaced  by David Gauke who decided to roll out the Universal Credit despite objection from a number of MPs.

The objection is mainly that payments are withheld for six weeks. How on earth do those fatcats think already down trodden people manage.

Ah, said wise May, there is a phone line to ask for earlier payment  but it cost 55p per minute. Under pressure from Labour May promised to drop the 55p per minute fee but accordingly, so far it did not happened.

Again, wise May, how will people pay for it and most of the elderly or very old people would not know about it.

All this before we even find out how much we lost and it bound to be a loss for us and a massive gain for May and her money-thirsty
Zombies.

The Winter Fuel Payment had been cut by £100 even after an announcement that 40,000 people died of hyperthermia, last winter, and the energy prices increased by 10 or 15 per cent.  It scarce you to think what will be the outcome of this winter. But they could find the money to print an eight-page leaflet for all sorts of advice. The leaflet was printed with NHS and the cost must have come out of NHS not DWP or heaven forbid from May's handbag.

The Welfare Secretary is now Damian  Green. It is doubtful there will be improvement because he is praising Ian Duncan Smith for his excellent work.

The Resolution Foundation said: "Universal Credit has been taken too far from its original purpose and veered off track because of the cost cutting."

It was announced at a time when the Government announced a further cut.

The new Welfare secretary Stephen Crabb said: "The payment was transforming welfare and getting people into work faster." The problem is that people in work are so low paid; they are starving or cant afford the rent and get homeless. Do Tories have brains apart for their own advantage.

The statement is such a humbug when 3 million unemployed less all the various methods of bringing the figure down with such as Zero-hour-contracts and so forth.

Last month, March, the unemployment has even risen by 61,000. A month where unemployment usually falls because of building sites and outside jobs starting again.

In view of those facts how can Mr Crabb make a statement like that? Surely he knows the full situation.

The original plan was for Universal Credit to replace six benefits - Job seeking Allowances and Employment and Support Allowances with a single payment.

After a long delay and costing an enormous amount of money it is gradually introduced across the UK and is now available to new job seeker in every Job Centre.

It is hoped that the reform be finalised by 2021.

Although the Resolution Foundation had supported the original plan but said now "which have been driven by the government's desire to secure further saving in the Welfare budget....have taken it too far from its original purpose.

"Unless it is reversed Universal Credit risks being reduced to little more than a very complicated vehicle for cutting the benefits bill."

Surely, the fact was obvious to the public from the start and the one and only purpose for the reform.

Welfare ex-secretary Ian Duncan Smith belied his own resignation statement. He went, literally, hopping mad when Chancellor George Osborne announced the £12billion Welfare cut but when Mr Osborne reversed some of the Welfare cut in March budget Mr Smith resigned stating to pressure of "salami slice" welfare.

The government said more than 450,000 people have made the claim for Universal Credit and more than 9,500 new claims every week. This is not a success story but purely due to pressure from the government.

Mr Crabb said: "Universal Credit is transforming Welfare and is central to our vision for our society where people of all background can earn a decent wage and provide for their families, where claimants moving into work faster and earning more then under the old system."

Has it ever occurred to Mr Crabb why people are on unemployment benefit because there are no jobs to be had?

Again, surely it is in their vision but it will bring families down to greater hardship.

The only way to create employment is to stop austerity which would bring back demands for goods to buy and increase manufacturing. At the moment manufacturers are rapidly reducing staff or going bankrupt all together

UK had 6 years of it and it brought nothing but highest debts for 8 years and highest deficit for 67 years despite of austerity and cut backs. Not a success story and if the Government wants to ride the country into inflation it is on the right road.

Labour Party has more sense and promised to stop austerity

GOVERNMENT BOASTING FALSE UNEMPLOYMENT FIGURES

Update 20 Nov., 2019 and nothing has changed. CONservatives are quoting the lowest unemployment figures ever. However, in the meantime they have sold a number of great manufacturer, some left voluntary, High Street shops went bankrupt and is mostly boarded up. 20 well known chain stores are either going bankrupt or have drastically to cut back in closing many branches losing 1,000 to 2,500 jobs each.

How can Johnson Tory PM and his MPs still quote low unemployment without fiddling the books?

According to their statement the unemployment had been falling to an all time low of eight years. It would be great if it were the truth.

The other figures are over 1.8million people are on Zero-Hours contracts which conveniently takes it off the unemployment list

Further over 1.4million people are in part time employment.

Over 1.4million people are on Job Seeking Allowances which will not show as unemployed.

These are just the major groups of people who would otherwise add to the unemployment list.

As Mr Cameron said at PMQ: “Since I have become Prime Minister, 2.3 million more people are in work.” It proves were the 2.3 million people are.

It is an old trick of Margaret Thatcher who also kept boasting of the unemployment falling and at the end of her reign the country was almost at a standstill, which was never seen before, and had almost five million unemployed.

One thing we have to give Tony Blair credit for was that he pulled up the country in no time. Parks were maintained again, streets were swept and council flats and houses were overhauled, old schools were pulled down and rebuilt.  It was a shame that he got involved with Bush and involved in Afghan and Iraq wars.

Why does the public always get these fabricated statements from the Tories? Today, the public is far more informed through the Internet and also intelligent enough to look behind their statements.

Here we got a typical announcement from David Kern, chief economist at the British Chambers of Commerce who said: “The UK’s vibrant and dynamic labour market remains a source of strength of our economy at a time of major uncertainty.

“However, there are some problems to overcome while youth unemployment  is now lower than it was before the 2008 downturn it is still much higher than the national average.”

Does anyone buy that? Especially up North where there is mass unemployment. There are over one million families across the country living on food banks otherwise they would die of hunger. They also have to choose between buying the little food they can afford or heating the house.

Who are Mr Cameron and David Klein kidding?

Hopefully at the local council election in May 2016 everybody will vote them out. Hopefully it will not turn out again, in my opinion, another doubtful victory for the Tories.

BRITISH STEEL WORKS CLOSURE- Update: 18 January, 2016

REDCAR STEELWORKS
UPDATE: 18 January, 2016

Announcement today that Tata will make 1050 workers redundant.

So Mr Cameron did not keep his promise and failed his people again.

The result so far is that Cameron pledged a £9billion to Tata Steel work to keep it going but we had a list of broken pledges by now; time will tell.

Scunthorpe will not be supported and moth-balled.

Another sell out to the Chinese. Cameron could have saved British steel if he stopped Chinese import instead he sign a contract with China to built two nuclear power stations most probably with Chinese steel and build by EDF the French Government electricity company. France and Germany saved their steel industry by nationalising it.

Well done, a stinking deal and sell out to your people, Cameron & Co.

He has £167billion for Trident  and £70billion for H2S luxury train yet lets British Steel Industry go to the wall.

British Steel had a world wide reputation which no one could touch it because the
quality was so high.

Then some brainless but greedy wizard privatised it. Privatisation is never for the love of the British public but greed of politicians. There is always a bundle falling under the table.

Soon after the ‘British Steel’ got into financial trouble because the chief executives and the shareholders got out of it as much as possible. It was not the workers who done one of the hardest jobs.

Then another brainless move came to sell it off to foreign bidders and another few bundles fell off the table. These foreign companies again took the highest profit and salaries but at the same time learned what was so special about the ‘British Steel’ how the highest quality is produced, make no mistake?

Now we have the final scenario which the politicians should have foreseen. They all go back to their country and produce the high quality steel at lower price because their workforce is cheaper.

One of the reason given, from Tata, was the electricity was too costly.  Well done the six energy suppliers because now you see the result and cut your own throats with your greed

All this has happened, not only to British Steel, but to many other top industries Britain was famous for.

The same Tories which caused all the trouble has now to bath it out or will they? PM David Cameron already appealing to China’s President for help. Already the Chinese Ambassador in London told Cameron that Britain has to adjust. In other words "No Help". That sums it up.

China is the real business people, if they do not see a profit for themselves they will not bother. Does Cameron not see or know it? Or does he not care unless it is for his advantage? It proven with the steel works now he negotiated a deal about a nuclear power station. It will be the same. The moment the Nuclear Power Station will get old and needs costly repairs they will be off. The Chinese learnt what they wanted to learn again.

China will not go down even after they lost heavily  in the last few months but they have one of the biggest gold reserves. Chine is wise to buy constantly more gold.

Again, why not stand up and by the steel industry? Germany and France had the same dilemma but they backed-up their steel industry and rescued it from bankruptcy.  The only problem in this it would cost the treasury a huge amount of money which the Tory’s always shy away from.

Again it is the wrong policy because there will be soon 1,700 in PwC, 1,700 Redcar and 2,000 in Tata unemployed. There is also always a string of others smaller businesses attached to it which will go under and create more unemployment which go onto the welfare.

Remember the words from PM David Cameron, Chancellor George Osborne and other cabinet ministers who promised an improved economy since Labour done it all wrong. Yet Labour never borrowed so much in all their years in office and Labour, Gordon Brown, brought the recession caused not by them but the top financiers called Credit Crunch from minus 2.6 to plus 1 per cent back which vanished in the first three months after the Tories were in office.

Debts had risen from £1,500trillion to £1,560trillion in the last four months

In the last five years the Tories had two recessions and one nearly miss even there was no Credit Crunch.

What do the Tories about this steel crisis, poverty crisis and the refugee crisis? They put their head in the sand and wait until it blows over. Labour would have nationalised the Steel Industry and saved those 6,000 steel workers’ jobs.

These jobs are all in the north of England and it will hit harder because there is already great unemployment. Yes, Chancellor George Osborne with his false promise of Northern Powerhouse won the Tories their election. Soon he cancelled the modernisation of the Northern Railways System which he promised to invest £36billion the moment they won.

If the people have not learnt their lesson from the last five years of austerity and double and treble the rich’ pockets maybe now it will dawn what they have done voting them in again. As promised, and this promise will be kept, “They want to come back to finish the job”.

It will come down even harder after April 2016 when the Tax Credit will be cut or completely cancelled.  Tories’ saving will always be off the back of the poor and most vulnerable never from their own pockets or friends. Chief executives earning millions of pounds plus bonuses almost as much while people rely on food banks to stay alive is not even scandalous but criminal.

They even had the nerve to increase MPs’ salaries by 10 per cent. MPs that live rent free and have all their other expenses paid for by the taxpayers.  Even PM David Cameron claims £32,000 for his mortgage while he lives at 10 Downing Street rent free. Not to mention he is a multi-millionaire, most probably a multi-billionaire.

Is PM David Cameron still puffing out his chest and preening his peacock feather stating that the Tories are reducing unemployment?

Or Chancellor George Osborne lied about the economy improving and the Northern Powerhouse.

UK NEW UNIVERSAL CREDIT IN TROUBLE

The UK government seem to be over-ambitious to change all the systems. Yet, it never seems to be thought through properly or organised before hand. At the end it cost the taxpayers more money than it should be saving as the government always promised.

In spite of promises that the NHS would be safe in their hands no sooner the Conservatives were elected they started to sack 4,000 nurses and closed A & E departments. By now the Doctors and nurses are under huge pressure and the waiting lists are far too long. Next months NHS will be transferred from the Department of Health to a Trust which smells of privatisation. If it is it will not be for the better.

Last year the government announced to change the welfare into the biggest shake-up for generation. The government's flagship the Universal Credit supposes to bring all the benefits into one payment. So far when the government changed something it was always for the advantage of the government never for the people.

Now it was revealed that the government’s pride and joy the Universal credit is already in crisis. Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Liam Byrne is trying for the MPs to admit that the scheme is in crisis and to try their hardest to sort it out now before millions of family’s tax credits are at risk.

Furthermore, a report revealed Work and Pension s Secretary Ian Duncan Smith had to put back three of four pilot schemes which supposed to have started next month to July.

As mentioned earlier in this report all this mess is not surprising and the public had it too many times with the coalition meddling and trying to change systems which had been there for decays and worked.  Previously with the Conservative Party only in power Margaret Thatcher turned the whole country up side down with privatisation of gas, electricity, railway, shipbuilding and cling down most of the coal mines. The result was that shareholders (guess who) made a packet and all these industries deliver a poor service to the consumers.  It also resulted to five million unemployed. Since they haven’t learned their lesson PM Cameron plans to privatise the Royal Mail, Fire-brigade and selling he RAF Search and Rescue Service to an American Company.

EU PLANS TO PAY MIGRANTS MOVING TO BRITAIN

After the disastrous ruling of the fishery industry where fisherman have to throw almost a third of dead fish overboard because it is over their quota and growing fruit all the same size which needs more chemical spray on it to achieve it plus to grow bananas straight it leaves us wonder about sense of the EU. Now we hear they are working on a new plan whereby jobless people get send to Britain with an incentive of a £1,000. They also could get travel expenses. They also would be paid £250 to help them to be interviewed and £830 for re-location cost.

Is that what Britain gets for its £19billion membership? plus all sorts of other payments.

Surely, it is on the top all their previous brainless rulings and decision. From a start Britain has 2.5million unemployed and amongst them over a one million youngsters who don’t seem to have a chance.  Brussels explanation for this hare brain scheme is that the tax-payers-funded scheme would give thousands of youngsters to move to Britain to seek employment and British youngster could use the scheme to move to the EU to work.

WHERE  IS  THE  SENSE  IN THAT?  Also people will be using the scheme to get money fraudulent.

The scheme is for job seekers age 18 to 30 and will be match with suitable vacancies.

The start has been made in Spain where youth unemployment is over 50 per cent. It will be extended to Germany, Denmark and Italy and eventually across the EU. Their Target is to help 5,000 people gain jobs through the EU scheme.

The statistic shows that tens of thousands of migrant have forced out British worker out of work. Prime Minister David Cameron wants Brussels to re-write the rules that allow Europeans to take jobs in Britain. When Mr Cameron visited two factories in recent weeks he found out that 50 to 60 per cent were people from the EU countries.

Tim Aker who is part of the ‘Get Britain out of the EU’ campaign stated that unemployment caused by the EU should be solved by the EU and not sends to Britain to force British people out of a job.

REMEMBER CAMERON'S SPEECH AT PARTY CONFERENCE 2012 == Update 3 October 2014

UPDATE: 3 October, 2014 -- In spite of it all the previous promises by PM David Cameron about the NHS which is by now half privatised. To emphasized it more the PM David Cameron spoke of his disabled son Ivan who died. Why does he speak about his son Ivan he does not show he means it?  At his speech at the Conservative Conference in Birmingham he promised again to increase the budget of the NHS and will not privatise it. He and his great Chancellor George Osborne also promised further cuts in benefits.  Promises,  promises and nothing but contradictions apart from the promises of cuts.

UPDATE 15 OCTOBER 2012 --  There are at the moment 1,000 disabled people who died because of the Disability Benefits being taken away. Some might not be the cause altogether but it is still too high a number to justify David Cameron's actions.

Well, people know now what to expect even he wrapped it up all in a fine worded speech with all emotional points. Hopefully the public will not be blindfolded either by Boris Johnston given them all a cheerful time, he too has that same believes and outlook as David Cameron.

David Cameron spoke about his son and father, both being disabled.  Yes, it must have been distressing and nobody will deny that but having experienced it so closely why does he cuts cold bloodedly the disabled people's benefit. It does not add up. Especially they have it much harder then David Cameron's father, being a multi-millionaire; they have to battle with the money and every penny counts.

He spoke of the Paralympics how wonderful and inspiring these athletes were but coming from David Cameron it is hypocritical. No doubt the athletes were but how can anyone sit there watching their determination to overcome the disability and cut their Disability Benefits at the same time. He is hitting and hurting the poorest of the poor. Yet again, he emphasised it in his speech that there will be austerity and further cuts have to be made. Therefore, these words about his son and father ring hollow and he never applies austerity and cuts to himself and the rest of them.

He was willing to spend £206million (updated £1billion) on a contract with a French firm ATOS not even an English company to create jobs. To send disabled people back to work. 32 (updated over 1,000) people died because of it and with 3million unemployment where have disabled people got a chance to get employed.

==================================================

PLEASE BE SO KIND AND CLICK ON ADVERTS.  THANK YOU.
==================================================

He spent £330.000 on a contract with a company organising wake-up calls for youngster to get them out of bed and back to work. Again where are the jobs? The majority would not be at home lying in the bed if there were any jobs available.

He spent hundreds of million of pounds on a management consultancy to sack nurses and doctors at the NHS. Yet, if necessary at all it should have been the directors’ job of the NHS; there again if he spend that money on the NHS there would be no need to sack nurses and doctors.

There is a whole string of mismanagement were all of a sudden the money was there to be spend all the wrong way and that is were austerity should start.

Apparently David Cameron will still carry on with his original plan. The truth is that the ordinary people are already so cut down, there is no money to be cut. Already the food parcels are on a big increase which is a disgrace for a country and its people like Britain. . Unemployment is growing at an alarming rate.  After years in office the country has a 0.4 per cent deficit instead of yet another promise growth of 0.2 per cent but David Cameron talks of healing process. Where does this man gets it from? He still blames the Labour and yet the Gordon Brown handed the country over with a 1 per cent credit which vanished within two months.

He was talking about sink or swim. Well it is the ordinary people who sink and David Cameron and the Conservatives do the swimming. The party faithful gave him a standing ovation because they swim with him. This party keeps splitting the public into two sections and with a great gulf between it. Therefore, his famous phrase ‘we are all in this together’ he would not know what hit him if he had to cope with what he hands out to people.

The promise of a referendum after the next election is nothing but a promise again to catch votes. If he would mean it he would have done it all this time or at least now. He already promised it in the last election manifesto and when it came to it dropped it.
